He has to be one of the sexiest men on this planet. When I watch him it's hard to breathe. I know he's so much more than his looks but omg he has so much carisma. I pray he gets his career launched as a director..I think that is the direction he wants to go. God bless him, he is an amazing human. I get nice vibes from him 💕

I recently bought VERA on DVD and I like the show. Brenda Blethyn is great as usual and David Leon is quite good too and,,,,so handsome. It's a pleasure to watch him. I hope to see more of him in the future....
Vera is a great series... I have all ... just love Brenda Blethyn ( charming) and David Leon,,(,, a good looker!)and the cast....all work well together,,,,,, like an ensemble that gels.....wonderful, ,,, maybe there will be more. .?? dDavud
I think we got to know Joe more because they showed us his family life periodically and it figured into their conversations quite often. I don’t feel they’ve done that as much with Aiden. Although they have spent less time on Vera’s personal life as well in seasons 9 & 10. I like (and miss) the glimpses into their lives. It makes them seem more real. The mysteries are great, but that’s only part of what makes Vera a great show. If the characters become just vehicles for the solving of the mysteries, the show will lose a lot of its charm.

I don't like it when the personal lives take precedence over the story ( the way Law and Order SVU has gotten beyond ridiculous) but to know and care about the characters adds to the show for sure. I always wish they showed a little more of Kenny and backstory of Vera. I think one season they hinted about Vera's love that died ...
Phenomenal show (which we only get periodically via PBS in the U.S., unfortunately); thus, I'm trying to catch up in other ways online......I loved the character of Joe and was so upset when he left in Season 5 (I believe). Plus, David Leon is gorgeous (and funny that Brenda says those exact words several times about him in her interview on this same channel, about how "gorgeous" he is). Their characters had such a great relationship and David created such a complex, brooding character; was so sorry he left. But will still watch as many episodes as I can.
We set the DVR to record all Vera shows and anytime PBS re-airs a series, it comes on. So far, we've seen every one. Go to PBS.org and check your local listings. You can also contact PBS to request the show. The more people who request, the more shows we'll get here in the US!

Enjoyed this young man/s acting ability besides this lady Brenda Blethyn the beloved female smart actor. At the beginning of series 5 new Vera sidekick, came as rather a wee shock but you quickly get used to the new face as the story line gathers you up & your caught in the mystery.. Love this series - thank you for sharing.
