And I have 2 more where they charge, one powers on for about 5 seconds with the green light then turns off. And the other doesn't power on at..any idea what it could be?
Hi, your description of the problem sounds like a bad flash(FW System) to me .. try to borrow a pandora battery somewhere and fix the flash if you can .. the sound when reading the disc can be a lot of things .. from the curved placed(not sit flat) drive.. to the wrong umd cover of the disc .. open psp and check the "sit flat" of the drive and then try other umd disks
my psp when i put the umd makes noise and keeps loading and then there are times when the image appears saying that you can't read the disc and i don't know what to do
I'm replacing the whole pad with a new one .. to repair it is quite unrealistic .. and for the money from Aliexpress it is not worth repairing .. but maybe it could be done with a conductive paint.. but you have to separate the two foils from each other .. repair and then slicing them again ...
Is there a way i can send a water damaged psp, a screen cracked one both 1k series. there is also 2 psp 3k series one doesn't power at all and one has a broken screen. One of the psp 1k was in rain and one was dropped. The other 2, 3k I have no idea what happened . If yes would I be able to keep one of the 1k and one 3k and you keep the other 1k and 3k?

Hello look against the light in the card slot .. if the pins are not bent .. if so try to straighten them again .. if not .. then make sure the card works on pc.. :)
I got a PSP 3006 and it won't turn on. Power light turns steady red when power adapter is connected but after a minute it'll turn to flashing red. No power light too when the battery's been taken out (direct power adapter connection). Don't know what happened it suddenly died on me 😞
@@PCmaniak it's weird because I searched on the internet if there are similar issues but can't find one. Yeah, power supply is working. We tried a different PSP and it was charging.

You can test keys and stuff on search web section of the PSP, that way you can test all the keys if its functioning, analog aswell

@@PCmaniak hey i found out the problem.. it's a loose right ribbon cable connection on the main board. Fixed it with hot glue gun

hi :) it sounds like a dirty laser .. or a damaged umd game disk ... When cleaning the laser, be careful and gentle ...
