@pharotman2311 - yup & Compile have an excellent record on the system. It's an excellent game for the system. Some really good shooters on the system. It's not known for the genre but it has some brilliant examples.
@BenJabituya - correct part of the long running Aleste series. M.U.S.H.A is a fantastic game - so many memorable sequences such as when the floor tiles drop into the canyon below. Just an absolute classic
@BenJabituya - to be honest I'm not sure. I think they are "adjacent" titles or related titles but not part of the official series. Would possibly explain why they weren't included in the Aleste Collection. So essentially as you say - play similarly & built on the same mechanics but I think off-shoots/sidestory type connection to the mainline series.
Yessss!!! I had no idea power strike was a compile game. Man I love these old shooters. Nice pick! Great sound great graphics, it’s a masterpiece

Power Strike is the Western version of ALESTE. I played M.U.S.H.A. on the SEGA Genesis/MegaDrive - Nintendo Switch Online service.

One question, Are ZANAC and GUN-NAC on the NES canon to the ALESTE series? Because they play in just the same manner!
