Fabulous ideas, Kristina! Thanks so much for sharing your tips, tricks and creativity. Can’t wait to play-and who of us doesn’t have lots of patterned paper that we need to use!!!😊
Omgosh Kristina! Absolutely LOVE THIS technique! You knocked this right out of the park! And this is something I can do while laid up with broken hip and femur. And broken arm from Feb 29th still not healed. But anyway.. My sister in law has my gemini jr on a TV tray table next to bed. my waffle flower dies and paper pads in a cloth bag. Other paper crafting supplies in another small cloth bag Thanks soooo much Kristina. I have A LOT of pattern paper that will get used! Great idea! Love and hugs.
Really nice cards, good to see masculine cards too. I’ve been obsessed with paper piecing cards lately. Another way is to put your patterned paper on to double sided adhesive before die cutting. Then just peel the backing off and stick down. Good to prep if you’re on the go.
Amazing! Such a very informative video. Thank you so much. One of the things I really liked about the wood looking paper is that the finished cards would be perfect to give to a male. Incredible job, Kristina!
Oh what FUN!!!! You looked like you were really enjoying yourself today! I loved your choices of paper pads and the geo shapes were great for quick cards!!!
Aaaaaahhhhh!!!! Kristina! Your wonderful, crafty friend, Jennifer Maguire, has a husband, as you know. He was on the design team that came up with Press n’ Seal....! I saw this trick years ago on her channel.
I stick the dies to the plate with washi tape and just place each paper on top to cut them. The first time you cut the dies stick down. So much easier you never have to move the dies. X Bea In Scotland
Lots of really awesome cards. What a way to clear out some scrap paper. Love the Press and Seal...works great on injuries that mustn't get wet also. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful! Just made a couple of dozen envelopes from patterned paper, each with four triangles cut out. I kept looking at them thinking about a flying geese quilt pattern. Now you've given me a better idea!!! Thank you!
What cool ideas. I have at least 5 million sheets of 12x12 background paper, and it is so pretty I cannot bear to toss it. But I do not use them anymore. This is a great way to use them!! Thanks.
I love these. I quilt, so I loved seeing secondary patterns from half square triangles, and I was tickled by the reason you used the press n seal to get the design lined up perfectly. Quilters are always finicky about getting points to line up, so I get it! Thanks so much for sharing these techniques, and ways to use patterned paper. Oh! One more thing. One doesn’t need to purchase the dies to do this. Just cut 2”x2” squares. Cut in half for rectangles, in quarters for squares, cut in half diagonally for half square triangles, then cut the triangles in half for quarter square triangles. It can be done with a paper cutter or a ruler and craft knife. ☺️
Mic drop. Wow 🤩 I’ve seen many scrap card cut out card demos but this was so educational and full of awesome tips. Thank you! Now I have a whole weekend worth of ideas (your two hours equals 2 days for me 😂)
A wonderful idea Kristina ! One to certainly keep in mind. Think I would have to use all small squares and just arrange them in different ways as well. Thankyou for sharing.
I just wanted to tell you that your friend Jennifer Maguire introduced me to the press and seal. I want to say her husband was the one that invented it! You can check that out with her!♥️ cool cards!
SO. COOL!! Love the look of these cards - thank you for sharing the tip of that press n seal. Genius! Always love your videos, Kristina. I learn so much from you. Thank you for sharing your talents!
I wanted to let you know I recently purchased some versa fine black ink and it came in a regular ink pad, with removable lid. I believe you said recently, you wish it didn't have that type of lid. 💞
AWESOME!! AWESOME tut and FABULOUS cards!! Breakin out my Press N Seal, Pattern Papers and the Die Set and giving these techniques a try TODAY!! So much FUN! Thanks sooo much for sharing and the INSPIRATION!! Arlene :)
Wow, Kristina! I might have been brain dead after coming up with half that many arrangements of pieces. LOL I did something similar for one of the lessons in Spring Card Camp 2, & I finished only 2 cards out of 5 (so far). I have the pieces adhered to the other 3 panels/card fronts; I just have to do the greetings. But it did take a lot out of me, just coming up with different arrangements! :P I love these cards. I think the one with the triangle woodgrain paper pieces and the simple "hi" circle stamp is my favorite. They'd all make great masculine cards, imho. Thank you for sharing, & have a fabulous day! :)
Love these Kristina! They remind me of quilting patterns. So helpful to have some ideas for different ways to use up pattern paper, while also creating multiple cards in a time efficient way. I also really appreciate card designs that are suitable for any recipient or occasion and don’t require coloring.
Absolutely stunning brilliant work! I love how you put everything together like a quilt. I like abstract and this is one creative way of putting something together very simply and elegant.👍☕💕
This is an awesome idea and the press and seal just makes it that much more awesome!! I have a ton of paper packs and I am definitely going to make some cards this way!!
I just love the way you arrange your cards ❤️ It takes a lot of creativity to piece things together and really delicate and careful work to bring everything together. Amazing work Kristina ❤️
I'm so excited to make some Cards. I really like the wood tones for masculine cards. Kristina you are always giving out amazing crafty ideas and information on making cards easier. I really appreciate all that you do for all of us. Thank you for sharing🥰❤❣
Thank you!!!! A couple great things I got from this: 1) I've had some wood grained paper in some blocks that I haven't known what to do with - I don't gravitate to the woody aesthetic. These ideas are absolutely fabulous!! 2) The Cling Wrap! Oh the Cling Wrap! I had that stuff, for its intended purpose, and HATED it. I found that the light adhesive often stuck to the dish so I couldn't wait till it was done. This application, however, is amazing! From an environmental perspective it might not be great, BUT it can probably be reused a few times - just gently placed back on the roll, or even in sheets on top of a sheet of scrap paper or something. Either way, the application is genius! Thank you!!!!
This is sooo AWSOME! Who would of thought... Press'n Seal! Your cards look Fantastic! I'm going to go make some cards right now. I so love watching your videos. You are a beautiful person inside and out. You're the best!
This is a great technique you thought up. I can't wait to try it myself. I am a fabric textile artist and love quilting. Paper crafting took a backseat for a while but have gotten back in touch of late. These are awesome cards. TYFS, Donna, in California.
I have seen paper piecing before, but your cards have such a fresh modern look. That definitely makes me want to try this method. Thank you for the great idea!
I loved your Press N Seal trick. I have used it to keep all the pieces of paper piecing in order but never to create a new design. So what do I need to buy now-the die, the sentiment stamp, maybe different paper? LOL. All your cards are terrific.
Great use for all the patterned paper! Thanks for all the tips & tricks. The first time I saw someone use press & seal was years ago. Jennifer McGuire was the one one who used it, she shared a story about her husband working on creating the press & seal wrap.
K Werner Design Yes, now that you mention it, I do remember her saying she got the idea from someone. I didn’t remember that part since I didn’t know who the person was. Don’t recall seeing Lauries video.
This way of using pattern papers is brilliant. I think Jennifer McGuire used this Press 'n Seal method first because her husband is actually the inventor of Press 'n Seal for Glad.
Wow Christina, the perfect paper, the perfect die set with it and you nailed it again. You are a coulour combination wonder person! I do have this kind of paper, but I can not find the press and seal in the Netherlands🇳🇱, that is a pitty. Wow I am in a good mood now of using my paper. Thank you so much for sharing 👍💕
I love the way the cards came out, and it is such a doable technique. So, this is my question. How do you store your finished cards. If you’re making a number of cards “to have on hand”, how do they get stored, what system do you follow? Do you store them flat in a box; with or without envelopes, in clear packaging. Themed cards in a group, or by size. Right now, my cards are just going into a collective box, just neatly stacked. I have not actually put all of them on card bases. Jackie
Paired with envelopes ready to mail, standing up in long boxes, with dividers I created out of cardstock. I only have a few categories (birthday, hello/just because, encouragement, holiday).

I absolutely LOVE these! The wood pattern paper cards would be great for guy cards. So many great time-saving tricks. Thanks, Kristina!
Aaaaaahhhhh!!!! Kristina! Your wonderful, crafty friend, Jennifer Maguire, has a husband, as you know. He was on the design team that came up with Press n’ Seal....! I saw this trick years ago on her channel.
Yep, I tried back then, too. Laurie Willison is the crafter who originally shared the Press 'n Seal idea. :)
I stick the dies to the plate with washi tape and just place each paper on top to cut them. The first time you cut the dies stick down. So much easier you never have to move the dies. X Bea In Scotland

Beautiful! Just made a couple of dozen envelopes from patterned paper, each with four triangles cut out. I kept looking at them thinking about a flying geese quilt pattern. Now you've given me a better idea!!! Thank you!
Keeping the dies together is a great tip. Try Press-n-seal the next time. Sturdier and reliable. Thanks for the inspiration.
Wow, Kristina! Super clever idea! You are the best!Love you! Love your videos,....!Thank you for sharing all of this with us! 👍👏😊❤😘☀️
This is a brilliant idea. Stunning cards! Thanks for sharing Kristina

Great ideas, nice cards for Guys.thank you
This way of using pattern papers is brilliant. I think Jennifer McGuire used this Press 'n Seal method first because her husband is actually the inventor of Press 'n Seal for Glad.

Brilliant idea to use the not so favorite patterned papers sitting in my stash.
I really love these cards! Great ideas - thank you!
