I cut out my outline in one colour; glue it on to my card, and then recut the die in another colour. I leave the pieces in the die; pop dots of glue in the spaces on the first outline diecut; turn the die over gently; place it over the outline on the card, and gently push the pieces through the die and onto the glued spaces. It really works for me! ☺️
Great idea! I have a stained glass die this will really come in handy. I use a Big shot . I always cut blade side up as you do. What bugs me is seeing other videos blade die down , even Sizzix. It should be encouraged face up
This is called inlay technique. Paper piecing is different. It involves layering cut pieces on top of each other, like pieces that become a detailed dog's face, for instance.

Great hack for paperpiecing. I would never have thought of using a tumble dryer sheet like that.
What an interesting technique and you can buy those sheets almost anywhere. Great idea and think I'll try that one. Thanks so much.
Great idea Lou

What a great hack for keeping the pieces in place. Thanks, Lou. X
Now that's genius. Thanks Lou 😊
Great idea! Thank you.
Game changer!!
Brilliant!❤
I bought press and seal when this hack didn’t work for me. Those sheets are good for clean up especially embossing powder. Xx

To keep pieces in place use press and seal wrap in grocery section near plastic wrap
We don't have this in the UK.
@@katiewatkins4670 UK CraftStash and Amazon websites sell it. Very reasonably priced and works great! ☺️
Not sure why my comment is being deleted... but Craftstash sell it. Reasonably priced; lasts for ages, and works great.
