1:02 in the artbook for veilguard they mention that hairloss is one of the few ways to detect aging in ancient elves. In other words, Solas is bald cause he is ancient 😂
This feels like a good time to recommend doing side quests and exploration as they become available, at least for the early portions of the game. Progressing the main questline can block of some side content without warning, and the side quests in this game are usually significant and substantial enough to warrant doing instead of just filler fluff. 6:15 Valuable Items are used for selling to faction vendors to gain factions strength, though some valuables also give a small stat bonus when purchased. 18:20 After Corypheus stepped out of legend and wreaked havoc only a decade ago it's probably easier for them to accept elven gods walking around (or at least mages claiming to be gods). Caterina also seemed to be aware of the whole Dread Wolf situation and the ritual, so more gods isn't too big a step. 1:00:15 A little easter egg: Felicia Erimond is the sister of Livius Erimond, the Venatori manipulating the Grey Wardens in Inquisition.
Welcome to Venice-Spain. Y'know its weird how the two major country's we've visited are both derived from the same real world source. Tevinter is the Byzantine Empire (AKA the Eastern Roman Empire) and Antivian's speak with Spanish accents but their culture is distinctly the Italian City-state 's. Their geographical locations are also a bit off, (When you turn the map of Thedas upside down it looks like a warped version of Europe), with Tevinter being roughly where Rome is, when the real Byzantine's were situated where the Anderfel's are. Before Dragon Age I never realized how many fantasy worlds are a weird hodgepodge of historical and cultural influences like that.
To answer your question, the Qunari military, the Antaam, tried to assassinate the new Arishok after the Vidassala was defeated. The Kithshoks, or generals and admirals of the Antaam, decided that the foreigners were unworthy of conversion. The new Arishok, the former Sten, disagreed and cited the Hero of Ferelden and Champion of Kirkwall as examples of noble foreigners. Now, while the Antaam left, all their builders and suppliers didn't. So basically the Qunari military is fragmented into armies of rampaging, pillaging Tal-Vashoth in service to Elgar'nan
The thumbnail has got me hyped. I love Lucanis and the Crows so much. Playing a crow origin has you in the same house as Viago "De Reva" and he's like a older brother/dad energy to a Crow Rook LOL It's so good.
I played a Crow Rook and it's just so nice running around the game with a fellow Crow. There's another companion that's a Crow fan and adding them to the trio makes it even more delightful cos it's clear they're geeking out whenever the three of us are together xD

Bioware seems to be really scared of combat when you don't have 2 teammates. D'Meta's crossing, 3 teammates, no combat. Lucanis recruitment mission, 1 teammate, no combat until Lucanis is recruited.
Sorry for all the comments lol just trying to help with lore questions. Around 19:00 specifically you mentioned Crows and family. High ranking Crows are all family to their Talon, if not by blood than by adoption. Which is why a crow Rook is a "de Riva" because their sifu/master/adoptive parent figure is Viago de Riva. So Zevran, when he was a young Crow and was a trainee, was just Zevran. Eventually he was adopted into the Arinai Family, whose leader held the title of eighth talon IIRC before their leadership was gutted following Zevran's actions against them in specific and the Crows in general after their bungled attempted murdering of the DAO protag
19:40 So just a heads up (because I wish someone had told me) when you're on a main mission they lock you off from exploring the open areas like at 20:11 you were on the right track but Bioware put those people there to stop you.
Demons are often originally a positive spirit warped by trauma or bloodshed or intense emotion. Spite demons are what happens when Determination or Motivation spirits become corrupted
Welonz mementos are not useless.. they allow you to upgrade caretakers shop. the higher you upgrade his shop the higher level he can upgrade your gear at the Lighthouse. so upgrading the shop should be a priority :) but you don't have to buy you find a lot by exploring and doing quests
