This trending style of S20 Ultra review about "The Truth" etc. is so strange. The truth is that it is a brilliant phone, best screen in class, one of the best cameras, fairly overpriced, but that will resolve over time.
The truth is it's downed so much by Iphone fan boy's and biased reviewer's that nobody realizes it's amazing. Samsung Dex is crazy underrated. I have the Ultra and a standard Oneplus 8, and It's everything "Extra" on the Ultra that make's it an all around better phone. The camera is far better than what you see in the biased review's that flood RUclips. Most just don't know how to use it and what mode to use when.
L337one1 I’m pretty sure they know what they’re talking about even linus admits that the iPhone has an amazing camera, giant sensors don’t make it better
Emulation_Junkies Every RUclips tech reviewer goes out with the main camera and snaps a few pictures or picks terrible options for night mode and goes, “See! There ya go.” They never cover all the amazing things in pro mode! Watching some other reviewers who are photographers go into all the details of the camera on that phone has me almost convinced to get it. You’re right about the reviewers usually. They are extremely biased in my opinion.
Reviewers: I wish they would just give you the same features that you get on the note. Also reviewers: I just don't see the point of making more than one phone if the specs are the same. Also also reviewers: the note series is supposed to be the daddy of them all so I don't know why it gives the same specs as the S series.
I'm in the UK too, do you think its worth waiting until August (My guess when the note 20/20+ will be released) then see whats on offer? Fell in love with the note series for the size and pen, currently have the S9+, which was my first S series. You'll likely find theyll do the 1440p, 120hz refresh rate on the note 20, then roll it out retrospectively onto the S20 series (Makes sense from a marketing launch standpoint to boost sales, withholding some of the flagship tech which will make the note appear even better on launch)
Actually even a longer video, quite good to be honest. You managed to cover most of the aspects, including the bad points, which is very admirable - I am a little bit annoyed of the so many biased videos, that praise the latest models like there is no flaws. Me personally - I don't think it is fair to set the same £1200 price for the Exynos 990 and sell it to half of the world, but... as we can see the price of that devices start to fall. Significantly. Already canb find S20 Ultra around £800 on ebay and soon it will be in the mid £700. I had really high hope for S20 Ultra, but because of the current flaws I will look elswhere. Keep the good work and be safe!
I think a lot of RUclipsrs have lost their subscribers lately video wise...most seem to have gone heavily with the ultra when most real life customers like us would get either the s20 or s20+ I would guess about less than 5% will buy the ultra! Still good quality video's but remember what most subscribers are looking to buy.
@@toymachine hence why I never said everyone but you will be the exception I would think as most people won't pay the extra for the ultra and get the normal or plus version like myself and my wife got the normal S20 as the ultra is just silly expensive for most customers.
SuperSaf is my favorite tech channel because Safwan bhai speaks hindi dude... I can never forget that "meri billi aur mujhse meow" tweet which totally blew me away... Thnx man I hope you grow massively
I think a little bit more about day to day use. For example, have you gotten used to the size in your hand, lack of accidental side touches compared to some curved screen phones and good connectivity etc. would have been a useful addition in a video like this Saf.
I have the s20 ultra exynos version and I had 7% battery left after screen on time of 7hrs 11 mins with 120hz fhd+ I don't think the battery is all that bad with exynos at all!!
I'm on 5hrs35 with 22 % left 120hrz adaptive brightness, main usage was photo editing or sorting folders. Once the battery optimisation kicks in as I only had the phone 3 days I'm sure it will last extremely long. The speed of the phone is second to none, just typing on it is crazy fast
I experimented with WQHD (Exynos) on a single charge with daily usage, Netflix, Call of duty, RUclips vidoes, instagram and internet browsing. Surprisingly, 7h55m of screen time. I did heavy testing just now. Shouldve recorded it 😅
How is your battery, mine has improved with updates but 5.5h SOT (was 3.5h) over 48h is below my expectations for 5000mAh? On photos I find that when you zoom in the detail is lost, a minor quibble and forums suggest this is because the Exynos version uses a different inferior (cheaper) camera sensor. Samsung at the AGM admitted the Exynos is much cheaper and saves them loads of money so I feel that these savings should be passed to the consumer especially as all tests show it is vastly inferior (just watch Speedtest G, performances is a year behind the Snapdragon). I find it illogical to excuse Samsung for the Exynos and am disappointed when their hardcore fans pretend it is not an issue.
@@andyH_England I just got the s20+ on Thursday. On Friday I left home at 10:50 am for work. It was a 1 hour commute in public transport where I was watching RUclips and playing some games(not very heavy) in full brightness and connected to my galaxy buds. My shift was from 12-10 and in that entire time, it was connected to my earbuds and I was listening to audible on and off. I listened to audible for 6.5 hours and I had a 2 hour break in which I watched more youtube and played some games. I finished my shift at 10 and got reached home at 11 pm. On my way back, 30-40 pick using regular mode and night mode to compare the cameras. My phone had 1% left when I arrived home at 11pm. The SoT was 5.5 hours but I have been listening to audible for 6.5 hours and don't know how that factors in SoT. I had WiFi, mobile data, Bluetooth, NFC on and there is an Covid19 app in Australia that always runs in the background and interacts with other peoples phone through Bluetooth. I don't know how much power that consumes. Overall, the ohone gave me 12 hours worth of juice for my regular usage which is not bad. I have also heard that the phone learns user behaviour and optimises battery so after using it for a while, the battery might last even longer. If that is true, that is more than enough for me.
So disappointing after All this hype in the Camera department i was going to upgrade my S8+ to s20 ultra to record my videos but every one is saying the focusing sucks Balls. Maybe S10+ looking like the better options now? Or s20+
I own the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the GS20 Ultra as my business phone. My iPhone has better battery life, better cameras for pics and videos, it's faster, and it's cheaper. I think the broken auto focus and 100 times zoom that takes trash pics are the biggest fails in tech of 2020. A $1,400 phone that isn't the best at anything but has the highest price tag is a bad look for Samsung. Samsung phones used to be known for great cameras, the best screen, and some of the best battery life but I can't make those claims this year
I've had my ultra for about 3 weeks now--and I would say your comments are quite fair. Overall, the cameras seem ok but they are taking some getting used to. I expected a lot more coming from a P20 pro--just not that great with the slow/difficult focus issues. The 5G does perform well for me with some insane speeds when I do speed tests. But honestly I don't see much real world advantages over the "4.5G" on prior phones. I also don't like having to pay more to get this service since mostly we are at home here. Costing me something like 11USD more for a couple hundred GB. Mostly I am a bit disappointed by the photo quality an hope it gets better with upgrades and with learning on my part. All things being equal I think a P40pro would have been a better choice had the google apps issue not been hanging on. I can't live without maps
Apple lovers will hate, but my S20 Ultra works great. 120hz is amazing. Battery life is great. Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner works great. 108 MP has an insane amount of detail which he should have mentioned in the video..
A great video hats off to you bro Don't worry about Samsung getting out of the way.... They'll get back their place till the end of the year. Just waiting for Note20+ "The most powerfull smartphone ever "😍😍🤩

@@aadityamadan2279 Linus's title for that video didn't help me haha.
13:30 Gimble? I managed to get a 8k recording just walking around. OIS is still there and its perfectly usable
Reviewers: I wish they would just give you the same features that you get on the note.
Also reviewers: I just don't see the point of making more than one phone if the specs are the same.
Also also reviewers: the note series is supposed to be the daddy of them all so I don't know why it gives the same specs as the S series.
This is true. They're such hypocrites
I saw you in tehnoruhez channel collaboration video.... Nd Your hindi was superbb.......
I already saw Your video regularly...but now i love u bro ...
Great vid
I have the exynos version and I feel like I've been robbed?
Who else thought saf looked like Michael Jordan in the thumbnail 😂😂
Who ?
That was my inspiration 😂
The Indian MJ.
Saf, you're THE MVP man..!! Keep up the good work and the hard work you put into your channel... Appreciate man..!!!
Keep the good work and be safe!
yesssss Saf some Ramadan friendly content
100% agree that Samsung should've held back from the 100x Space Zoom branding on the camera bump.
Spending alot of time repeating the things he said in his original review.
Thanks :)) love your reviews. You are best ;) I agree with your thinking a lot :)
I'm looking to buy the ultra
@@toymachine hence why I never said everyone but you will be the exception I would think as most people won't pay the extra for the ultra and get the normal or plus version like myself and my wife got the normal S20 as the ultra is just silly expensive for most customers.
Hey Supersaf, how long did it take you to ship the Snapdragon version over to your region in Britain?
Note 10+ seems to be a better choice over S20 ultra for me.
SuperSaf is my favorite tech channel because Safwan bhai speaks hindi dude...
I can never forget that "meri billi aur mujhse meow" tweet which totally blew me away... Thnx man I hope you grow massively
Phone review without talking about phone call quality 😂
I just bought Samsung Galaxy S20+ and are super satisfied on it.
The video quality / focus was quite choppy to be honest.
The 8k???
Isn't 240Hz touch input work in 60Hz at WQHD+?
@supersaf make a camera 📷 comparison between note 10 plus and s20 ultra
I think a little bit more about day to day use. For example, have you gotten used to the size in your hand, lack of accidental side touches compared to some curved screen phones and good connectivity etc. would have been a useful addition in a video like this Saf.
I have the s20 ultra exynos version and I had 7% battery left after screen on time of 7hrs 11 mins with 120hz fhd+ I don't think the battery is all that bad with exynos at all!!
It's about an extra 3 hrs for me on SD. I only use 120hz as well. I honestly don't think it matters when you can charge to 90% in less than an hr.
Seems like quite a colour difference between those models I see at 01:00. Did I miss out on why it is like that?
I experimented with WQHD (Exynos) on a single charge with daily usage, Netflix, Call of duty, RUclips vidoes, instagram and internet browsing. Surprisingly, 7h55m of screen time. I did heavy testing just now. Shouldve recorded it 😅
I wish s20+ gets same love from RUclips community. S20+ is a better phone
Where is camera comparison HuaweiP40Pro vs S20 Ultra?
Would definitely love that
Love the video, just got the S20 2 mil this ago, had the S10+...much happier
I have a s20+ Exynos no issues. In games i have slightly less fps than the snapdragon model but i game not heavily on my phone so its fine for me.
Thanks for the review. How do i know if its a QUALCOMM chip?
So disappointing after All this hype in the Camera department i was going to upgrade my S8+ to s20 ultra to record my videos but every one is saying the focusing sucks Balls.
Maybe S10+ looking like the better options now? Or s20+
I had s8+ and got the ultra when it came out out and huge difference def worth upgrading
S20+
I own the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the GS20 Ultra as my business phone. My iPhone has better battery life, better cameras for pics and videos, it's faster, and it's cheaper. I think the broken auto focus and 100 times zoom that takes trash pics are the biggest fails in tech of 2020. A $1,400 phone that isn't the best at anything but has the highest price tag is a bad look for Samsung. Samsung phones used to be known for great cameras, the best screen, and some of the best battery life but I can't make those claims this year
@@moneysal7509 same
I went from pro max to the s20 ultra and it was such a down grade. Display is the only good thing.
10:39 can be used in spying imo 😶
😏
yep, great for perving. Samsung needs to bring out an upskirt feature :)
OnePlus 8 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra vs iPhone 11 Pro Review! | The TRUTH After The Hype!
ruclips.net/video/-cnHxAVzR20/видео.html
If Samsung doesn’t sort out the Quadcom issue by the time I upgrade my phone which is in the next year and half I will have by my phone from USA
True
This is why I am going for the P40 pro after I sell my Z flip
Thanks for video 👍
I love everything about the S20 especially the camera
Apple lovers will hate, but my S20 Ultra works great. 120hz is amazing. Battery life is great. Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner works great. 108 MP has an insane amount of detail which he should have mentioned in the video..
Waiting on the note 20 plus
Hey Saf does the s20 ultra display have some colour issues like the OnePlus 8 pro or not
I miss NBA USA and Football and S20 Ultra the best phone in the world and iPhone 11 Pro 😍👍
Anyone else noticed the caption say ‘sucker here on supersaf tv😂😂😂
S20 Ultra can literally zoom into your lungs
Lol
Dude. I love your honesty about devices. Love to you 👍
Insert Exynos Rant Below:
Fun fact: here in South East Asia, the exynos model is just around 1000 usd, or you can get around 950 usd for s20 ultra.
I like your accent when saying the word: "display" (1:04)
So is the focus fixed?
Do this for s20 Plus and s20
Nice videos👍👍
A great video hats off to you bro
Don't worry about Samsung getting out of the way....
They'll get back their place till the end of the year. Just waiting for Note20+ "The most powerfull smartphone ever "😍😍🤩
Does the glass breaks near the camera as they say now?
The Ultra is a failure. The regular S20 and S20+ are much better since they use SONY sensors......
It is not a failure. Depends on how many reviews you are watching. If you own it yourself the you will understand
The ultra is a beast. I won't settle for anything less.
I don’t think it’s a failure. It is just not up there with price/perf, just like Fold or Z Flip
@@MrAdhiSuryana exactly the pricing was a bad move. The auto focus is blown out of proportion. People now wants the camera to serve like as a macro camera
Auto focus aint the fastest but not a deal breaker
Fair Review
Love it 😊✌️👌
englis caption : "credit to sam singh"

Can you compare the SE to the Galaxy A71? It's the same price bracket! Thanks
Why are you emphasising the TRUTH,all your videos should be honest anyway
How I can send this directly to Samsung Executives?
