The best part of Uganda is when you travel out of Kampala City to the country sides. The green vegetations, forests, rivers..

  • @rizzochuenringe669

So what exactly is shocking? I cannot find anything shocking.

I was in Uganda 11 years ago. Absolutely loved it. I saw Kampala and was staggered at the traffic chaos. I was a white woman travelling on foot alone. I was pretty much mobbed by the locals who were shocked to see a white woman in Kampala. They were friendly and welcoming. I had the best experience. Great safari too at Queen Elizabeth national park... fantastic country ❤❤❤

Isn’t this a nice prosperous country for other African migrants to aspire to get to and settle!

It looks cleaner than Downtown Dallas, Texas lol. It honestly looks more well-planned than a lot of American cities. I'm glad Africa is seemingly taking its own path to development and isn't creating ugly, unpleasant cities full of office buildings that everyone avoids like we have in the US.

Thanks a lot for this video. I am really impressed how well dressed and clean the people are. No dirt and rubbish on the streets like in so many other big cities around the world.

  • @Kpangolo

And where the heck are the Ugandan women I've heard so much about?

  • @tomagley356

    WTF is shocking here?

  • @jiggersotoole7823

uh, it's just endless traffic like everywhere else ???

This is so refreshing after seeing videos of Nigeria and Sudan. Kampala appears to have a society that values work, knowledge, and respect for fellow humans.

I was here in 1982 and this road was full of shell holes ! Not that much traffic either because you could hardly drive through because of all the holes! The people of Uganda were very very friendly nice people ! Stayed at Silver Springs hotel for 4 months building a Wagon ferry on the lakeshore down Bell rd , lovely job , lovely people!

Thank you for all the positive comments about my motherland Uganda.I like following stories about motherland all the way here from Baltimore County Maryland USA

I was in Kampala in 1982 working for Belgian shipbuilding corporation down at Bell road passed the brewery on a Wagon Ferry to take cofffee across the lake ! Myself and a friend found out that there was a snooker table in one of the bars! It must have had about 50 knife slashes across the Basie ! But we were very good accomplished players from S Wales and tried to teach the locals how to play! The local people were wonderful and friendly and always laughing with us! What wonderful times at Silver Springs Hotel in 1982! Don’t know what happened to the Ferry we built ! It was built to take coffee across the lake cos by road it used to get Highjacked and sold on to buy Guns ! Crazy Tomes Man! Philip Locap and Gerard Kizito were my friends
