FoCo Fondo Fat Tire Summer Cocktail Series: The Lagerita

FoCo Fondo partner Fat Tire is like the sparkling wine of beer: universally pleasing and fantastic on it's own, especially a cold one on a hot day AND so much more. This just-for-fun series showcases some fun ways to utilize Fat Tire for some late summer cocktail treats.
The Lagerita loves the company of tacos! Fat Tire increases the volume and decreases the ABV per sip to a traditional margarita. However, overall, each one does pack a punch.
Salt or tajim rim (optional)
2 ounces tequila
3/4 ounce Cointreau or orange liqueur
1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
4 ounces Fat Tire
Garnish: lime wheel

And if you aren't drinking, some fantastic substitutions would be the Athlete Brewing Golden Ale or the Best Day Brewing Belgian Wit, and a juiced orange for the orange liqueur. We suspect with the fresh juices and a tajin rim, it would still be delicious and refreshing without a direct tequila substitute.
