I watch this weekend cause he is in it. I rarely watch golf now. I am old yes. I thought I would stop watching after Jack left. Then Tiger came. Who is the new Tiger that will bring back the audiences? Yes there are some great golfers out there. When I saw Rory win the Scottish(?) Open on the last two holes with birdies in high winds it reminded me of Tiger. So there's good golf to be had still. It's not the same as the Tiger effect. I don't think that the fans are bothered by the division of players.
Both Tours now have fantastic players and are extremely competitive.
The PGA Tour NEEDS the merger, not in the spirit of sport but from a marketability standpoint.
They will not generate as much revenue when half of the world's best players don't play in their tournaments.
The PGA Tour doesn't want to accept that their product is not going to have the draw that they are used to having.
    That doesn't bother LIV.
It doesn't bother the sponsors, as they now have the option of building relationships with LIV, and the PGA Tour, at what will ultimately be a bargain basement price.
It doesn't bother the fans. Team Golf has its own appeal. The PGA Tour still has a very attractive product. The Majors and Ryder Cup are even more exciting and captivating, with the players being from opposing tours.
I don't want to see an agreement that allows players to participate in both tours.
The overall excitement in the sport is greater this way.
    One final thought.
The PGA Tour Players/Membership CAN NOT allow LIV players to return to the PGA Tour.
For that to happen, MASSIVE financial compensation is due.
These players clearly, directly, and with awareness of the consequences of their actions resulted in IRREPARABLE HARM.
    IRREPARABLE.

At 34 years old I was happy with the product and watch every weekend. I find RUclips golf gives me my fix on the more modern approach to non tournament golf. This to me seems like it's just about rich golfers getting more rich. Like be honest, has splitting all the talent made the product better for you as a fan to watch? Do you care about all those stupid teams on LIV? I'm just talking about from a competitive golf standpoint and as a fan I just want to pay to see top notch competition in tournaments that matter. Meritocracy. Also the LIV product doesn't do much for me. Even from a viewing standpoint. I feels like your watching a F1 race. I watch the final round most weeks if a golfer I like is leading. Mainly Brooks Koepka but aside from that it's just not engaging for me. No one watch's sports because the guys get paid a lot. it's just a flawed concept from the get go. Big joke. Tiger keeps saying he hasn’t played enough. Who’s fault it that? Apparently he can’t play a lot because of his many health issues. Face the facts. You’re done Tiger.

Teeger cannot win another event, it is next to impossible, and he demonstrates that impossibility anytime he plays. Due to the lack of rounds and practice, he is always susceptible to the stupid mistake which accounts for 3 to 4 strokes in a 72 hole event; and this excludes the physical deterioration of his body during an event. Deterioration will always cause body movements to go into compensation mode, so it's something that you don't really notice at the time it is happening, but at the end of the round your many strokes over par. Teeger will always have declining proficiency during an event; and he is not good enough to shoot a 59 in the first round to accommodate the 75 in the final round.
