This was prob the most candid Tiger interview I ever watched. Great interview, Carson. You got him to let his guard down and be real.

Carson just delivered the single best interview that Tiger Woods ever gave. Carson was able to open Tiger up like no other. He came across as natural and human which is something he has never been very good at.

For real.. Ive probably watched 99 percent if not every single interview of tigers.. the only one I’ve ever seen compare is his Oprah interview.. albeit much different age. Definitely helps being a fellow competitive golfer as Carson is, and knowing him from a younger age, and giving him that respect as a great interviewer

It does help that Carson and Tiger have known each other since childhood, which I had ZERO clue was even a thing. Kinda crazy actually that A.) Carson was into golf, wouldn't have guessed that in his Mtv days, and B.) of all people and places, it was So Cal with Tiger...

Seems like just yesterday I was in elementary school watching a young Tiger Woods becoming a superstar like no other in sports.. his ability to dominate the field of players and have such a talented feel for the game is something we are lucky to have witnessed in our time
I still can't comprehend how someone can do a hole-in-one hundreds of yards away. Like that Phoenix Open where Tiger directly sunk the ball in the hole, not just rolling in from the grade. Crazy.

I read a headline in the news feed about this interview, so had to seek it out. It was fast, BUT, I feel like this is the most...I don't want to use the words "insight" or "relaxed" but just, "oh, that's who he is" type interview I've seen with Tiger (with me being a non golf person).

Not a fan of Tigers new logo, but I am a big fan of his golf.
TW will always have his guard up. I have never seen an interview on him answering why he was the way he was with the field and press pre-scandal vs how he has been the past 10 yrs or so. Wonder if he opened up more as he was a little embarrassed about his marriage woes opening up? Did the press use his personality against him once his big flaw came about so they figured to get even by sensationalizing it? If I had 10 minutes with him I would like to ask him. Not sure he would answer. Always thought his softening up lead to his drop in wins/majors.
