I will never ever ever forget seeing this live, this was the reason this became one of my fav. games of all time, still replay it to this year.

My body is so tingly from all the nostalgia. FFX is one of the great games that you'll never forget with amazing characters and an unforgettable storyline. It stays with you forever.
I’ve never been able to really explain how much this game does stay with you forever. I’ve replayed it at different stages of my life too and it’s effected me in different ways every time, for better or worse. Truly an emotional adventure of a game.
I'm currently working on a full sleeve of aeon glyphs. I only have Anima's so far, but yeah. It will literally stay with me forever

Im playing the remastered version now and i beat this game at least 3 times . Idc what anybody says but 10 was definitely the best.

I do too, but I was mostly hooked on Grand Theft Auto III and Devil May Cry back then. Final Fantasy VII was the pinnacle of the FF series imo, and Chrono Trigger is the best RPG ever.

Okay but the FF series is iconic PERIOD. X definitely earned it’s spot in my favorite games list. The scene with Yuna performing a sending for the first time in front of Tidus lives in my head rent free.
Love that there was a time when a 70 hour rpg was considered a ‘short quest’ and now people quantify 20-40 hour AAA RPGs as wins lmao
Making a triple a rpg with a 100 hour stories costs millions. Games cost way more to produce for new systems. The ps2 had 1000 games made for it because it was cheap as all hell to make games for it

That reminded me of the trash that is FF7 remake. Unnecessary long and filled to the brim with filler. The most insulting thing is how that hack nomura rewrote a classic story.
@@adrian_veidt enjoy the original as well as the remake tbh. 🤷🏾♂️ yes it was padded but it was still a fun game, as for the story changes, we’ll see where that goes in the next part.

It’s because Toonami turned 25 years old on St. Patrick’s Day. So Toonami is going through the nostalgia for their birthday of what Toonami was like in its early years.

Love the story, I've spent 150+ hours.
I got attached to the characters to a point that made me feel sad finishing the game, I wanted more. Plus the stories in the game are very emotional.
I believe that someone like Yuna is worth dying for.
Favorite Aeon is Anima
FFX will always hold a dear place in my heart.... along with Toonami, of course 💙
I got as far as the under water soccer game with kilik and I had to return it to blockbuster... the cutscenes were what dreams were made of (at the time) 😆 🤣 😂

Luckily for you, you can buy it for Ps2, Ps3, PS4, and PS Vita for super cheap and experience the entire masterpiece that it is from beginning to end 👌

The remaster comes with the sequels the best bad game I've ever played, you will need to restart from the shock of the opening cutscenes alone
Oh. My. God. I had completely forgotten they used to do these. FFX is still one of if not my favourite game ever. I also think the voice acting was pretty great. It was just that lip syncing was a novelty at the time and the voice direction went out the window.
Even if you're not interested in playing, just listen to the OST. Absolute bangers.

@@ShadowWolfRising Sadly stopped watching TV in general around 2010 but great to hear since I don't think they did them right after the Toonami revival.
Since Toonami is on Adult Swim now, many of the games they review now are either Mature rated titles or Indie Download only titles that you may or may not have heard of.

When I was 7 in 1994.. I always tried to stay awake but your commercials with the calming music really made it hard.
My ALL TIME favorite, glad after all these years, I had the opportunity to see this once more.
Remember seeing this all the way back as a 9 year old kid. Never got a PlayStation but I finally got it several months ago and playing it for the first time.

The fact I just started replaying this a couple days ago is a sign to me that something may happen with this game soon; another remastered version for the ps5? a remake? X-3? Probably none of these things, but this was still a pleasant surprise to see after all this time

They actually already have a story outline written for X-3, but they're caught up in the FF7 remake and FFXVI right now. Could happen this decade
I just picked the HD remake for the switch. My first ff game ever. I'm so in love with it, the music, the story, the graphics, the characters... I'm new to playing jrpgs so this was a fun experience.
I will never forget this game. But I’ve never played it before in my life.
Wow, just as I was getting back into Final Fantasy, this came along JUST yesterday.
Final Fantasy X is my favorite game in the series and one of my favorite games altogether. I have so many fond memories associated with it.

One of us owned this at launch and our group of friends took turns on his game but it was that phenomenal at the time even watching was entertaining as a kid.

I've been clamoring for a PS2 back in the days. Curious about what the new generation of gaming was like then, especially with the backwards compatibility with PS1 games.
But in the end, games with 3D Graphics look better on a computer or some kind of HD Port/Remaster.

I remember this commercial being really disappointing to me because I had a Dreamcast instead of a PS2.
"It's the best looking Final Fantasy game." I wonder if people still think that, or if this is an outdated statement.
Well this review is 20 years old plus it has been remastered for PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One, Switch and Steam. So now it is more considered as a good looking game but definitely not the best.
