Toonami coming full circle from showing anime to making anime to making anime about Toonami.
This is the most western style anime i've ever seen, I assume it was made by western guy that likes anime and make thier own adaptation and story, I hope it's good
It’s Directed by Toshiyuki Tsuru who also Directed Gungrave and Animated by Telecom.
The only Western part is that it’s based on Tom from Toonami.

WeaponOfMyDestructio I think it as more like a while we wait for the next main Toonami event after The Forge, these ones will keep us occupied till then even if these ones are just for fun for being Filler episodes. The main ones cost more money to make but The Forge was in 2019 which makes it a long wait for the next one.

I'm sorry but with what's going on with TOM in this episode, I couldn't help myself.
This is WHY I adore Japan! For the animators that worked so hard to create this awesome short episode we've been dying to wait for eons now but also find it so fascinating how the graphics are along the storyline! I also am a little shocked that Tom is considered as a copy as he still seems his actual normal Tommy-self! ^.^
Can't wait 'til next week as I'm watching it on Toonami as Assassination Classroom is on for me. xD

I know I've said this before, but after seeing this, I wish there was a full on original Toonami anime series featuring T.O.M. and SARA.
This looks like something that would play as a made up anime that plays on random TVs in GTA

Now that's interesting. I wonder how this TOM is going to reconcile not being the original. If he struggles with the notion that he might not have a soul, this could get wild. And if the original TOM does have to be destroyed... I wonder what that means for Toonami's new future. Maybe we could be getting another character overhaul. It's fairly standard for Total Immersion Events to end with a drastic change to the style of the block.
Normally that is true. However Cosmo Samurai is not canon. So anything that happens here will have 0 effect. In other words, it’s filler while we wait for the next main T.I.E. that takes place after The Forge.

Hmmmm, very western, rough transitions, feels rushed, and jumping scenes quickly... my opinion but probably isn’t worth much. Has potential and hope it works out!
Odd, this didn't premiere at the start of toonami like the last one did. And they didn't show it during the commercial break for shenmue either.
I'm pretty certain I wouldn't have missed it. But they went straight into showing shenmue.
