Thank you so much for coming to watch my video despite your busy schedule! Today, let's walk along the old and beautiful alleys of Seoul together. We will depart from a cafe near Anguk Station in Seoul and Gye-dong, one of the Bukchon Hanok Village and walk along the stone wall road of Changdeokgung Palace. After that, we walk through the alleys of Sunra-gil.
There are more than 13,000 new COVID-19 confirmed cases in Korea. Lunar New Year, the biggest holiday in Korea, is approaching, but many people are concerned about the explosive increase in the number of confirmed cases.All my friends, I wish you all the best! 👍

Jongmyo (Hangul: 종묘; Hanja: 宗廟) is a Confucian shrine dedicated to the perpetuation of memorial services for the deceased kings and queens of the Korean Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897). According to UNESCO, the shrine is the oldest royal Confucian shrine preserved and the ritual ceremonies continue a tradition established in the 14th century.[not verified in body] Such shrines existed during the Three Kingdoms of Korea period (57-668), but these have not survived.[not verified in body] The Jongmyo Shrine was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1995.
Jongmyo is adjacent to Changdeok Palace and Changgyeong Palace in the south.[not verified in body] They used to be connected in the Joseon period, but were separated by a road built by Japanese colonists. The main buildings of Jongmyo were constructed in October 1394 when Taejo, founder and first king of Joseon, moved the capital to Hanseong (present-day Seoul).[not verified in body] The shrine was destroyed by fire in the Japanese invasions of Korea (1592-1598), then rebuilt in early 1600s.

A little late with my comment. Always like the Alleys ways, there are lots to see small restaurants and artisan shops. It was pleasant walking along side the Changdeokgung Palace wall. I like the mixing of Traditional and modern buildings. Thank you Nathan.

북촌 한옥마을 근처이군요. 종로 인사동에 항상 그림보러 많이 놀러 다녔는데 정말 서울에서 핫한 장소이죠.
근 10년간 안가봤는데 북촌도 많이 바뀌었네요. 다들 직장인들 퇴근하는 모습인데 유독 검은 옷 정장 입은사람들만 ㅋㅋ 대통령이 사는 청와대와도 가까운곳이라 청소부로 위장한 잠복경찰도 봄.청소부치곤 수상해서 다 들킴 ㅋㅋ 한국사람은 흰색옷을 좋아하는데 겨울에는 검정색이 무난하다보니 직장인들 대부분 검정 점퍼를 많이 입는듯

Nice walk - interesting observation - in my city 5:30pm many business close for the day unless it is near the weekend -the Pandemic has heavily reduced foot traffic and it is not worth staying open. My City village area is like a ghost town (Except for a few restaurants and pubs) after 5:30pm. I see the snow has all gone - Are there any prolonged periods of snow coverage over your winters??
