This whole process was extremely stressful for your kitten. You should have waited to get her acclimated to her new home. Gave her some time alone to destress before introducing her to your dog.

this is so true. I found a Russian blue kitten outside my house one day in the bushes. She's a little over 1 year old now but very loving, cuddly, a little shy and veryyyy sweet. She sleeps between my legs every night and follows me into the bathroom or whatever room I go into. They have such a sweet personality and the most beautiful green eyes and a soft, silver coat. She doesn't like loud noises and get scared easily which is okay, def not an outdoor cat though.
I just adopted an older Russian Blue kitten. I think she's nearing a year old. Sadly, it's day 3 and she is still hiding under my bed still and creeps out when she thinks I'm not looking to eat/drink/use litterbox. The poor thing was abandoned by her original owners and the neighbors took turns feeding her. She's very traumatized and withdrawn. She did reciprocate affection a couple of times. But then she'll decide that she's had enough and go back into hiding. I long for the day I get a nose boop to welcome me home. But I feel I'm months away from that. Hopefully I earn her complete trust because she's here to stay!

She has now decided she wants to eat 2 cans of wet food daily and is very lovey dovey until, almost perfectly timed, she will glance in the direction of her food bowl. Lol. She loves chin scritches and lays fully stretched out on her side with just the tips of her paws touching me. She likes to snart me awake and stare at me indignantly as if I caused her to sneeze and fart at the same time. There's never a dull moment with her and my apartment is filled with laughter! I love this cat 🐈

A piss poor way to introduce your 2 pets in your home? Next time, try and put the kitten in a single room for a day. The following day, let your dog in that room (w/o) the cat... to become familiar with the cat's scent? Then gradually introduce them... way less stressful on the 2 animals! Cheers

The introduction was poorly handled. In this day and age you can look al this up on the internet. Also free freeding is dumb. It seems they have a unlimited amount of kibble. This could lead to obesity.

They even let you carry the cat without carrier Perry’s place fucking made me but $40 carrier because I had a bag carrier and not a plastic one Unfortunately I returned the kitty but they didn’t even let me get my carrier they were like we have to have that carrier I was like fuck you and that $40 I don’t have a time to fight
Hi Harley. Sorry to hear your experience. We adopted the baby girl from my local Petsmart, which had the pets adoption events. I did have a carrier with me. But she was so lovable and wanted to be with me in the car and kept crying. that was why I took her out and put her in my arms. There is only 5 mins from petsmart to my house. That was why I was kinda feeling ok to let her out in the car. I hope you will adopt a cute kitten soon!! ;)

kitten power Females are very petite and slender but males are very buff and heavy, they usually don’t get bigger than 14 lbs and always stay the same grey color, though their eyes should get more emerald green as they grow
Hi Fiona. These kitties were in the cage temporally just for the adoption event in the Pet store. These cats were fostered in volunteers's house before the adoption event or from the local shelters where each kitty or two kitties share one cage. :)

Mine is an indoor cat. She is doing very well as an indoor cat. Very playful and lovely
The breeder I got mine from states in the contract that it is an indoor only cat & I would be breaking the contract by letting him go outside.

Looks more like a korat kitten or mix to me. I believe Russian blue kittens have blue eyes close to 100% of the time, while korats have amber in youth

Actually...Russian Blues have blue eyes as kittens, yellow eyes in adolescence, and green eyes as adults.

Be careful! Pet stores aren't completely honest about the cat's breeds, so she may not be a Russian Blue.
