I’ve been wanting those black Mary Jane’s for ages and I’m planning on buying them next spring as soon as the temperatures where I live start getting warm enough for Mary Janes. I also just got the Dr martens church quad monkey boots because I’d wanted them literally since 2019. They are so cute and I’ll definitely be wearing them all autumn and winter.
I bought the black ones as well. They make a kids version with velcro straps and i could also get my half size (eu 38,5 which is the biggest kids size they run). They are also cheaper than the adult version, super comfy and fast to get on & off!
got the Sezane Leo coat in pink in the mail and keep trying it on with different fits to see if it is worth keeping…seeing you in it validates my choice to keep! You are one of my fave RUclips fashion people 🩷🩷 rock on
I love these looks! I just got a pair of Hereu albers sport (a chunky mary jane) yesterday and love this as inspo. I love how I can wear these style mary janes with cargos/very boyish clothes for more contrast than a loafer, but they also look so cute with skirts and librarian/witchy girly items.
I’ve been debating getting these shoes for like three weeks now a d have been trying to decide between black and brown and this video has convinced me to order the black ones asap
It probably wouldn't matter if DM made half sizes I have roughly 11 pairs all labeled 9s and they all fit very different some loose others tight its really roll of the dice if you purchase before trying on lol even reviews are torn. Insoles do help alot tho.
I still have my “unbroken in”doc marten Mary Janes for almost two years cuz they’re so painful on the back of my ankles. This vid prevented me from giving them away 😂 anyone got tips for breaking in the Mary janes? The back ankle area especially
Thick socks and preemptively put on bandaids! Like the wider ones that will cover the whole back of your ankle. It’s annoying for a while but it’ll be so worth it, mine are so comfy now I just slip them on
Use leather grease on them to soften the material (there are also products especially for softening and shaping leather) and then carefully use a light hammer on the problematic area. Put a cloth in between to protect the surface and put something on the other inside like a piece of wood with a complementary shape. That way you can prepare them a little before breaking them in with your feet. It's the old school cobbler way.
