  • Hello everyone! Welcome to this video where we are blasting out of Washington-Reagan National on a 59 minute hop to Charlotte, NC. I love this airport so much and this departure was definitely a lovely sight. Anyone know what the juddering on line up was all about? Anti-Skid??

    If you look closely at around 10:20 you'll see a flock of birds flying by the aircraft, so I think that juddering was them stepping on the brakes to avoid the birds

      Good shout!! So it could well be the anti-skid whilst stepping the brakes with thrust applied? Thanks for this and thanks for watching! -Matt

      @@MatteoMariano Yes it could be if the airplanes anti brakes system senses a lock in wheels due to excessive braking pressure the anti-skid system can kick in
