What Shaq said was how I felt about Ben. He can average up to 18 ppg without a jumper. He just have to be the best Ben that he can be and leave it all on the floor. Jumper or no jumper, Ben is Ben, a Pass First guard who can defend better than most NBA players today. That’s the Ben we want on the court. If he improve even his free throw, that’s good enough for me. Just keep working hard and his confidence will grow to a point that he would like to shoot one day.

This is kinda true, BUT...as an NBA Player your main job is literally putting the ball into the hoop. I can't remember there being a player who was so reluctant to even TRY a jumper. Like ever.
Yes, Ben is a monster on defense and a really good playmaker, but at least show your opponents you're willing to take a J, when you're left wide open.
And what I especially don't understand is, that his jumper looks good. Even the 3-4 he took last season where nothing but net. So why not keep going for it? Nobody expects him to shoot 45% from deep, or even 35%, but simply take the open shot when available.

    • @robspunk

Yeah I think reality is he could play today in D and playmaking and drastically improve the team by picking up 4 points only. Shaq didn't make any 3s, he doesn't have to play like that. He can play downhill basketball, just forcing a team to play D can break open a game. Look at the sixer's today, they didn't play D.

@@QuestionEverything562 man I was initially disappointed in Ben Simmons because of his mental fortitude, but that’s who Ben is now, and I pray by God’s grace, he will grow up. What I learned tonight is, instead of focusing on Dwayne Wade being politically correct, because maybe that’s who he really is. Dwayne is doing some great things to but let’s focus on celebrating people like Shaq, who is a treasure, not because we agree with him, but his insight. I’ve learned that we’ve to spend more time celebrating people like D. Wade, Stephen A. Smith, Shaq, Lebron, Jalen Rose, etc., who make considerable impact in our communities, instead of focusing on people we don’t or do agree with. He’s a treasure and sometimes we take for granted people like him. People will criticize Shaq for his mistakes but overlook all the great things he does. Can you imagine being so outstanding, that when people talk about you, all they can say is” he can’t shoot free throw’s; he cheated on his wife, etc..”, but what about saying” this man is going to be a billionaire; what a great philanthropist, father and friend he is”. Listen, after listening to Shaq tonight, I’m committed to celebrating people like him from now on. #Truth!! Facts!!!

And your going to refute that claim because of your single minded view of your perception of Ben Simmons's (whom you've never met) character? You good bruh?
People go through things for various reasons in various ways. For some they may be ok with sharing if they're comfortable, for others that may cause them to feel anxious or vulnerable. ALL of this is about empathy and respect.
Think about it, if you can be "normal" and then all of sudden feel the need to off yourself the next day, what makes people think the opposite can't be true? Giving yourself a different environment is proven to be an effective way to begin the healing process often times. People just REFUSE to show grace and empathy. It's not that they can't, it's just against their nature to do so.
Mental health is real and people still associate it with the stigma of being crazy, insane, etc and belittle it which is wild to me. If you're not happy, or not yourself, or not growing how you want to, and it's affecting your temperament or mood and you can see/feel that, maybe it's time for you take a step back and reevaluate what you have going on and what you have surrounding you. People make up their own narratives though because they don't understand the concept of showing grace, empathy, and kindness without receiving anything in return.

Harden is gonna coach the team to begin. In the regular season Harden knows how to win. But in the playoffs Doc and Harden have been choking in recent years

Doc Rivers is highly favored by somebody important. Never seen somebody do so little with so much. Big Baby said it years ago...Doc lucked up in 2008...KG and P ran that show.

It wasnt about that. It was about embid and doc throwing him under the bus and expect him to just brush it off. He's heard that his whole career, he never quit, but its different when your coach and co worker basically disses you and blames you like they didnt do any mistakes.

Idgaf what no one says you can’t RESPECT what Ben did and you can’t RESPECT what harden did and harden did this ish twice….I’m a sixers fan til death tho so I’ll rock wit whoever is on my squad but James scares me because Embiid wants the ball and harden likes to dribble not sure if that’ll be a problem or not

    • @jbandoh

harden hasn’t been the ball dominant 30 shots a night guy since he left Houston, he doesn’t have to spam dribble moves now with embiid
