Don't forget on Sundays we go live right here on RUclips to diagnose YOUR golf swing's cause and effects for FREE...so send me your face on and down the line golf swing videos to info@liongolfacademy.com
Great video. Wish I could join you and send my swing for your Sunday review. But I’m a steelworker .. and im scheduled 12 hour shifts that engulf every weekend. Keep up the good work
Hey twisting the feet is what I feel in the ground. Working on that shoulder tilt think I got the fix but ima work on it a few weeks and send in a new vid.
@ figured it out tonight you were on to something early on. I’m too close to the ball. Need to lean over more and let my arms hang more. When I did that it was easier to turn and much less tilt thanks! I’ll send videos in a week or so when it feels natural
Tony. Wonderful video!! Nice to see someone comparing videos I watch frequently (AMG). On the note of figuring out which style you need, would you mind ever giving advice to your viewers on which one they should focus on? Or is this something only determined internally?
You got it atevoh, thanks for the nice words. It’s really hard to give advice like that without knowing the history of the viewers. I would say there are positives and negatives to both. I would say most average golfers should focus on the hip bump as this promotes weight shift, and natural shaft lean, something that I think most of the amateurs (at least the ones I have worked with) tend to suffer from. But please take that with a grain of salt as again you really need someone to diagnose your natural tendencies before you tinker around!
Pardon my frozen beard-cicles & snot-cicles as I thaw out.🥶 I just walked inside from -11°F "feels like" temperature according to the local meteorologist.
I'm thinking that if you didn't pick up the game of golf until after your age 30s, then accentuate the hip bump a little more. If you're someone still in your mid-teens or younger with youthful flexibility, then accentuate rotational turn more. To everything turn, turn, turn There is a season turn, turn, turn And a time to every purpose under Heaven~🎶
AMG hip bump at address and then your analysis doesn't discuss this. Or am I missing something? I've got Colin's ground force data and torque is not as pronounced as it may appear on video.
Both videos covered hip bump at address and during the swing, both had drills to use, and also discussed their reasons why each philosophy worked in the swing. As a viewer who manages to stumble on both it can be quite confusing. I just decided to include both and show that most people show signs of one of the other, including the pro. Just my interpretation of what the viewer should be informed of before deciding which to tackle. Thanks for the watch!
@@liongolfacademy Understand. Thanks for all you do. You're a great ambassador for the PGA. I do enjoy AMG's content they are very good at highlighting the simplicity of golf swing when done like the average tour player. Like yourself they do put in a lot of effort in debunking swing myths.
Basically saying they can both be right and both be wrong, it all depends on if it it right for you. What are your tendencies, limitations, body restrictions, etc. Thanks for the watch!
Adam coaches very high level players and his system is proven. He also hits balls on his channel and they’re always striped. Never seen an AMG guy hit a ball and all they talk about is random numbers generated from a computer. You know and I know that’s not how golf works.
Yeah the problem is that anyone learning the game or novices who search for help will now be confused as to which to go to, think of this video as the middle man explaining both. Both work, as we see the best in world domination both, but there is more to this than simply saying “do this”. Thanks for the feedback.

Great observation! This helps people realize they don't have to move like they're favorite player as long as they get 75 to 85% on their front foot.
Thanks Mark! I appreciate you your watch and comment and yes you are right!
Just so good with the uploads lately.
Appreciate it brother! 🙏 thanks for the watch

@ thanks for your response!! I should’ve clarified, I was referring to getting potential feedback on a video your Sunday red light for instance.
@atevohFC for sure I can include that for the videos we go over on Sunday.

Ouch! I don’t miss those days at all!!!
I saw a player win on the DP tour bumping his hips with his back hand at setup. Guess he was confused!
😂 those guys are girls are exceptions, a bunch of flukes of natures out there. Thanks for the comment

That sounds about right…you need to create a new golf version of that song 😂

@martynzl appreciate you
So you are saying both are wrong, or both are right?
