That alcohol is not 80% - it's 80 proof which means it is 40% by volume. Very important as you don't want to use an alcohol more than 100 proof (50%).

I’m not understanding? It clearly says 80 proof. If it’s something like Everclear (190 proof), I would add distilled water to bring the proof down.

You can use glycerin or honey. But it's not a tincture, it's called an infusion. You will have to research more because I'm not sure how long it would last. The alcohol make it shelf stable for a long time. I hope that help, thank you for taking the time to watch!!
