yoooo I built a PC? and maybeeeee I was facetiming chris the entire time I was doing it but bro I built a PC!!!!! I am beyond elated; I got to learn quite a bit during the process, and when I was initially doing research on how parts work, which ones to get, and how to assemble all of it, I found that there aren't a lot of youtube videos on PC building that a) have non-gaming centered purposes or b) done by women. so, as much as I am a noob, I wanted to make a video that is more geared towards people like me, especially as someone who had no prior experience to PC building and does photography/video for a living. if I can do it, y'all can too! hoped y'all enjoyed the process; my love for you guys is too much to compute. :,) have a lovely day!

just some notes after reading the comments!
1) I forgot to add the IO shield and stand-off screw for the SSD! my bad, first time
2) Graphic cards are really expensive and fluctuate in price like crazy ever since the pandemic, so all the 8GB GeForce RTX 2060/70 cards are actually over $1000 >_< the 1070 ti may have seemed like a ripoff, but it was the more inexpensive option until the 30 series restocks, but if you’re a PC build enthusiast you’d know that stuff has been picked up like crazy by scalpers :/ I only wanted to buy from official retailers, not off of eBay or a resale site
3) I lifted my PC off of the carpet a bit ago!
4) LMAO roast my keyboard bc I roasted my keyboard too, idk why Logitech sent me that one lol
5) I’m planning on adding additional fans in the future!
6) taking recs for games, I just started Alba and Persona 4 😌
I plan on building one when I fly back home I’m coming back after living in another country for a year lol
red dead redemption 2 is really good if you want something that'll push your pc to the limit! a little slow paced at times but incredibly immersive

I really love how transparent she is about how much everything costs, not only in this video but others as well. A lot content creators try to hide their expenses and deem having pricing in videos unnecessary

Edit: Alright guys it’s been like 7 months and I’ve done some thinking about what i said earlier and the way I said what I said. I’ve realized that although men are the predominant presence when it comes to videos in this category that’s no reason to tear them or anyone down. I’ve realized that I can be for inclusivity and diversity without tearing anyone down.

This is such a great video! Outside of building, the actual video editing, learning tips between each part of assembly is so helpful and I haven't seen it done often enough (I didn't do it either because I'm new to content creation and pc building). I would definitely recommend changing those white tubes for some nice white custom cables, would really improve the aesthetic of the pc, also you could try to reroute some of the fan cables and try to hide as much of the cables behind the motherboard tray as you can to really improve the looks of your pc. Great build for your first time though.
