Unlike most other desk tours that simply introduced some unrealistically expansive accessories, yours has lots of characters and details. What I love about is you managed to add consistency by doing the DIY stuff. I am also a white-theme enthusiast so it's such a satisfying video, great job!
I laughted at the part when you considered using the spray paint as nail polish 😂 The makeover is a success! I love how cohesive and clean it looks! And yes the peeling paint was such a great idea. Definitely a gamechanger!

Oh god, I am SHOOK the moment you decided to apply white spray paint on your monitor. Especially because that is exactly what I was also planning to do but got scared that I'll mess it up so I still haven't tried it yet 😂 Also, I think we both like the color white cause even my desk and walls are white. I just love how white looks minimal and clean overall while being able to blend with almost every style or aesthetic out there. Another thing I have noticed is that we both love doing DIYs on our makeovers. In fact, I used a plain wallpaper sticker to turn my table from brown to white like 2 years ago hahaha. Lastly, I love how realistic this vlog is. I like how you showed us the whole process including the errors/mistakes because in reality, our desk isn't so perfect and aesthetically-pleasing all the time like how others see it on social media. Because if you look closely, there are also imperfections. Like in my case, some parts of my table's wallpaper sticker has chipped off and that's normal. To sum it all up, I guess we are both after for an efficient, quality, clutter-free with good ambiance desk setup while staying on a budget. P.S -Sorry for the long comment. `I have the echo show 5 2nd gen. I used it mostly for routines and for lights etc. We also have other echo devices all round the house so it's easy to do drop in, announcement or call.
i have two amazon show rooms and personally how i go through life i pretty much use it as a clock and only a clock i rarely change the background too cause it’s so annoyingly complicated. for me i have no other reason to really get it but maybe for you and your bf are the type of people who will need it

I also had the same issue with the baseus light bar cause it was too tight for my monitor.. but i actually fixed it by prying open the shiny circular covers on the side hinges with a thin tool and removing one spring out (coz there are springs on both sides) ... cut an id card and used it like how u did the clothes pin so it can still hook on to the top...

The thing you did by putting stuff inside the light bar so it could just hang on top of the monitor is genius!! Paused your video and did it to my own light bar hahahah (i didnt have wooden clothesline clips so i just rolled up some cardboard and masking tape hahah but it worked )
