Why The Jedi Didn't Find Palpatine As A Child

- In yesterday's video, I explained how a spoilt young Sheev Palpatine became a Sith Lord. But why didn't the Jedi find him? Well first of all, he was of noble birth on an out of the way planet. Many nobles saw acceptance into the Jedi as a demotion and would therefore make up false medical documents to evade them. However, more importantly, it was Palpatine's innate force abilities that prevented him being found. Despite having a midichlorian count on par with Yoda's, Palpatine's psychopathic nature left a shadowy void in the force. Later on, this would allow him to hide in plain sight as Chancellor, but it also prevented the Jedi from sensing a young Palpatine.

@@89rashed89 first off you are correct if they were to create a Palpatine movie they would ruin palpatine. Second off they would make it two black and white like they do all of their Star wars things. Sith bad. Jedi good. The resistance has no flaws and the Sith have nothing that makes them compelling. And as Disney sees the Sith as this nothing but evil faction they would not make a movie about a Sith Lord as they always focus on the protagonist and nothing on the antagonists.

If he had been found itd have been a similar result to when Tom Riddle was taken to Hogwartz. Its possible Palpy would have learned all the jedi could teach, but his darkness would be a little showy and they wouldnt want to teach or show him any more that could make him a bigger threat. He would probably find a way to get to sith artifacts and become a serial killer.

and would've then probably gone to find out about the prophecy of the Chosen One, find out that the individual is already born. He sets out to find and murder Shmi Skywalker when Anakin was just a baby, who then also tries to kill Anakin but Palpatine is then force-repulsed away from him and disappears.
The Jedi Order finds Anakin and takes him in, trains him from a more acceptable age.. and is thus prepared for Sidious' return by the time he's nearly full grown and kicks his ass.
Anakin never turns to the dark side, likely still meets Padme. Good ending unlocked.
@@plague6174 What? As much as I hate the guy, your theory is not sound. Palpatine would've likely trained Anakin in secret from the Jedi and he would've been his official apprentice unlike Dooku and Maul. Later on, he'd probably get Anakin to help Dooku turn to the Dark Side and start the Clone Wars and the Fall of the Republic. His transition to Emperor would be different since he isn't a politician but it'd be much simpler.

Darth Pleagues just found him first & make Palpatine force not detected by The Jedi. That also the main reason why them (Palpatine & Pelagues) can do some Experiment with Force & avoiding the Jedi order.

@@DA-xz6wm They have extremely limited feelings with some feelings like guilt being completely absent and happiness being almost nothing. Only other difference between them I’m aware of is that psychopaths tend to be more manipulative and charming with sociopaths being more rage prone

Did the force shield he used, make it undetectable for the Jedi to know he was force sensitive, non the less a Sith Lord, surly if they knew that, they would have found it off that he wasn’t a Jedi with that large of a force sensitivity.
I’m pretty sure the explanation is that Naboo wasn’t apart of the republic when palpatine was young.

Its not that simple or alot of people would just tell the Jedi no to stealing and indoctrinating their kids the moment they show up at their door. The Jedi have the legal right to take the kids away even if their parent/guardian doesnt give consent

Why wasn't a young Palpatine found by the Jedi?
Well because the movies wouldn't be the same if they had so we make up force stealth and force wealth so it matches😂
If you were the parent of a force sensitive child under the republic, you had a choice in sending your child off with the Jedi. It wasn't compelled by any laws or by the Jedi order. Further, it was a very small window in which most children would be accepted in most cases. For humans, infancy to age 4 was the desirable range to be taken and be considered younglings, and be able to move onto padawans at 13 or older. The older a child is, the less the order would find it acceptable to train them unless circumstances were extraordinary, such as qui gon, a very respected jedi master, taking full responsibility for Anakin's training on top Anakin's own mind boggling potential.
All Palpatine's family would have had to do is say no to the Jedi if they happened to notice force sensitivity in him. Seems strange to make up medical issues.

That is a lot of supposition from Legends material. The Canon reason is far less clear. We actually don’t know the full details of how a Force Sensitive is found and picked up by the Jedi. In The Tales Of Jedi and Sith a kid tries to be a Jedi with forged Midiclorian count paperwork but the real Jedi ignore it completely. Apparently “Jedi look for talent.”
So this gets more rediculus as this channel had a video that states that Palpatine's office was full of Sith artifacts leaking bad force juju all over the place and had regular visits by jedi and no one question.
Honestly, I have major questions about the Jedi education system. Like the only way he could be more obvious is if he powered a neon sign with force lightning saying "dark lord of the sith here"
