    You are a genius, the idea to use nitinol to muscle up the exoskeleton is fantastic.

    That's awesome, I can't wait for further updates! absolute ingenious. Honestly I would not have expected anything less coming you, my brother.

    I had thought of the same use of nitinol for use in robotics back in 1989 when I first heard of the substance. Glad to see it's being investigated!

    Nitinol wire takes a slight temp change to react (change) back to it's original shape, very clever Tes. Good job. The heat / cooling material around the springs may do it.
    Thank you

    Awesome project, but when you were running in the the in the suit First thing that popped into my head was "run forest run" reminded me of when he ran right out of his leg braces LOL. Great video looking forward to more on this project.

    Brilliant Mr.Teslonian. You are the most creative person to whom I subscribe on youtube. That is saying alot because I have hundreds subscriptions. Big fan of your work, very inspirational.

    Your dancing ability is top notch, almost rivaling your engineering :) Look forward to see what you do with that Nitinol and Peltier idea. Keep it up man, this one is super cool for people wanting to increase physical strength.

      @MrTeslonian  9 лет назад

      Diadon Acs "Your dancing ability is top notch, almost rivaling your engineering", this is not a compliment I've seen my self dance, it reminds me of Steve Martin in the Jerk trying to keep a beat.

    • @consciousenergies
      @consciousenergies 9 лет назад

      Your too modest my friend. Dancing is an art form that should invoke some type of feeling. It made me smile and like any artwork, its always interpreted differently by the observer. I thought it was great!
      Never stop having fun, I feel life is something to be savored. Enjoy every moment of it. :)

    dude I would seriously add a free standing pivot point on the lower spine of the suit that way you could twist letting you make full strides

  • @trevader2562
    @trevader2562 9 лет назад

    I can't wait to see a full suit! that's pretty darn smart, though I'm not sure if nitonal packs enough punch for an exoskeleton.

  • @jasonbagshaw5345

    Love the suit, deffinatly interested in seeing the mechanical performaces of nitinol and how much advantages it could provide.... mix this with your fusion generator and ur part way to an iron man suit :D

  • @randycrowe4978
    @randycrowe4978 9 лет назад +1

    A bit of oil would go a long way. Great show. Love your stuff. Instead of nitinol how about fishing line muscles. There is a lot of research going on with that now and it is super light and cheap. Also try straps like on back packs rather than all that heavy metal. Nylon and Velcro are cheap and light. You are awesome.

    have you addressed Nitinol fatigue?

    • @MrTeslonian
      @MrTeslonian  9 лет назад

      Mike Davis Some Gator-aid and rest normally helps;)

    • @earthday78
      @earthday78 9 лет назад

      lol no i mean under a load Nitinol tends to snap eventually, funny response though

    • @MrTeslonian
      @MrTeslonian  9 лет назад +1

      Mike Davis First nitinol does show rapid degradation if the bend is to extreme or the distance of travel exceeds a 30% range so the only way to address this is to minimize the movement distance and bend arc. Other than that probably the only people that can solve this issue are the producers of nitinol.

    • @earthday78
      @earthday78 9 лет назад

      great explanation, clears things up...yes i'm very interested in learning more...a few years ago i researched Nitinol alot, but when i came to the conclusion of the fatigue i lost interest thinking it was a critical flaw. I'm really into its use as a hot water engine for power generation and so dabble with peltier units too...cool work your into, i got my electronics degree for similar interest...i will follow your progress and wish you best of luck...would really like to see your projects success and if i can contribute please let me know

      ***** No, it would look cool, fist ever moon walk with the exoskeleton. The sound would be more interesting than the moon walk though.
      Oh, is the wimshurst build will continue or it is the final part? If not can you power a TV or a drill with it? and maybe add pedals to it?

    ***** Would you know how to turn a tens unit biofeedback electric stimulator (for muscle pain) into a Dr Robert Beck magnetic pulser or colloidal silver generator. It has two leads that both hare negative and positive each lead. I have a lot of copper coil also. I just don't know electrical so I'm not sure how to go about making those too things! But I really need them for my health but they don't run cheap so I wanted to recycle-build off what I already have. Like what your great at, although I'm not knowledgeable or clever like you!! I thought about making a video showing the tens unit device to see if the electrical men on RUclips could point me in the right direction. I still might. I see your clearly busy so it's okay if you don't get back to me. I just saw your very knowledgeable and invented so I wanted to ask!! :-) Thank you. Keep on making the great videos!
