You're right, the seafood is absolutely fresh, compared to most of what you get in the West....where its frozen and laced with preservatives........looks like a really nice place...the nicest hotel I remember from my last visit to Vietnam, was Le Pavillon..( yes, misspelt French, from "Le Papillon"), in Hoi An... classy looking hotel, there, on Phu Quoc.... enjoy, good to have a bit of luxury, sometimes.... thanks for the information on another place to visit, when I go back to Vietnam.

That's definitely one fancy hotel. I'd totally stay there as it's still way cheaper than a mediocre hotel in the US and has better food, views, and amenities to boot!

Phu Quoc used to be a penal colony under french rule. Its unbelievable that now it has become such a nice resort.
It makes me want to visit the island! My friends have been asking me to go there. Vinpearl resort looks awesome!

Had a lunch there before, fantastic food choices and beautiful views.
My wife prefers staying at IHG and Premier Village.
Seafood pizza are more expensive than the generic one we eat in the usa. There is seafood pizza in the usa too , not a common thing to order it but its almost x2 the price compare to the generic pepperoni / bacon pizza

Hi Phuc Map, I've always eaten seafood pizza here in Australia because my parents got me into it. I never realised it was a Vietnamese preference in Vietnam. Makes sense now. My parents originally came from provinces in the Mekong Delta, so they are really into their seafood and have passed that on to me.

Vinpearl is for the majority of tourists, but in Phu Quoc many resorts have much higher prices.

I put smoked salmon with capers, scallions and mozzarella cheese on my seafood style pizza. I'm from Seattle, we know what fresh seafood is all about. Đúng rồi!

I believe to legally get a work permit for teaching you need some necessary qualifications. I started teaching 7 years ago though, and my school has handled everything since then

Hello! I am traveling to Phu Quoc in a couple weeks- weather shows thunderstorms. Is it usually correct, and is it that bad if so? Next, Is that Lan Vu from Bolsa TV ? I recognize him!
The good news is that when it rains, it’s usually only for an hour or two. But it is really hard to tell from the weather forecast here. And yes, that is him.

That I’m not sure on, it was a collaboration trip with the hotel
garlic clams pizza is really in Minnesota at Fat Lorenzo...intense garlic but that needed with that fishy of the sea. I like pan fried pizza and do not like thin crush pizza unless it is flavorful. That pizza you have look okay as it has that cracker look of a crus and even with shrimp I rather they cut up the shrimp and spread them out evenly on the pizza betta.

I don’t know… Don’t get me wrong… I love fresh seafood from the ocean but having it on a pizza wouldn’t be my default choice. I am of the belief that a proper pizza has to have cheese and pepperoni as a foundation :)

No, I've never actually looked into it. After seeing how difficult it was for my wife to get into certain countries with her VN Passport, the US is the best choice for my travels.

I noticed a lot of videos where they do this in many hotels....as well as stand at the door to greet and open it for you. I guess it's part of the service, but I think it's a bit much. I hope the women aren't taken advantage of at that hotel for doing their job, though.
