Thanks for the tip on buying a sturgeon report card even if we can't keep them. It's common sense that if we all return the data, the DFG will have more accurate information to base their limit decisions on. I sure hope this mussel thing works itself out. I also saw in the DFG letter we all need to have a license or permit to drive a boat. All good info. Thanks for your report. Finally, don't feel bad about Denise out fishing you. I told my kids the students (kids) have to eventually do better than the teacher (parent). That's how we make progress. Ha-Ha!!

Yes I saw that and he will pay dearly. But I can feel the pain these commercial fisherman have because they have boat payments like our house payment. Our state closes seasons on these guys and they have no income. Especially the salmon closure as there are lots salmon and how they get there counts are fish returning back to the hatchery. But years ago when they trucked all the smolts to Rio Vista and the bay and released them so many of those fish couldn't find their way back.

Yes starting this year some lakes are requiring someone on the boat has to have a boater license or you can't launch the boat!

No it's still to muddy in Sherman and guys are catching on the San Joaquin side as it's a little cleaner.

Mitchell 300 probably not as that reel had the most produced ever. Lure maybe have to find a collector look on line
Commercial crabbers are allowed to drop gear January 2nd & pickup on January 5th. Sport limit pickings offshore but slow inshore

Covid messed it up and there working on getting it back to where it was and better.. Vendors didn't show up the year covid hit. It was a mess
