I'm very tempted to not do a online course just I have this feeling both each other can't communicate properly like in IRL what's your thoughts maybe I'm scared the video won't do me any good or justice with my performance.

@@thepcgamer7678 being on camera can help tremendously. There will always be pros and cons to everything, and in someway online is even more powerful. With online you can tend to work on a much more flexible schedule allowing yourself more freedom to learn and gain knowledge. When doing zoom lessons, always having yourself on camera is very powerful. It’s been amazing to see how uncomfortable people get. If you can’t be comfortable on a computer web cam, than there’s no way you can be comfortable in front of the real thing (in set). It’s a skill in it of itself and what I’ve found is if you can get good online, you’re much more powerful coming into a ‘one on one’ interaction or group situation. Think about of it as training with ankle weights. Once they come off, you’re faster than the rest around you.
Though one might find it harder to communicate online, you actually can. My grandma (who is not an actor), can still come across with lots of love and care through the camera without even trying, more than many of the young 25 year olds I’ve seen, because my grandma is not in her head, the youngsters get scared in front of the camera. But it is very possible to come across and make a real human connection on camera online. And if you can do it online (where you might find it harder) than you’ll have no problem when it comes to being in person.

It all lies to facial expression and how you look to the camera. If you're not showing your wrinkles on your forehead you doing it wrong because we need emotion when you're you have to act like the character itself like you are the character that's why I would recommend looking at someone that suits the character in your life and try to jot down different things they do and how are they

I heard that one of the most important things in acting is listening. It’s easier said than done. It does require practice and time. Actors should also take care of their health, exercise their body and voice, and read scripts. Hope this helps!

Like the others said: Listen. And be present in every second of a scene as your character. And then record your videos so you can see what makes you believe you are the character and what throws you off.

Hi I’m 15 years old and acting has been my childhood dream but I never could do it because of my father but now those limitations are gone and I’m full set on it. I want to be in film and production and I’m not sure if I should do theatre or take classes even if I have classes in Alabama.
