What a beautiful duo. Two guys who really know how to play and swing, The sound melts my heart and takes me back to the late fifties when I began to learn to play , when guitars sounded friendly, and amplifiers were rated at twenty watts.
Playing any instrument requires preparation of years of sacrifice and enjoyment. The guitar is one of those instruments that played by the person who enjoys doing so is reflected in the melodic sounds that emerge from the instrument. Thanks for sharing your art. Henry
Chris, I haven't commented before, but it's about time I let you know that I look forward to each and every one of your videos. Spectacular, flawless playing and tone as always, and your organist knows what's up too. Please never stop sharing your music!
Chris you are now one of favorite living jazz guitarist. I want to comp like that! And as others mentioned, gorgeous tone. And just so much swing. Loving it.
Hi Chris, I've been there 1 time...playing to a gathering, here by my house. Of course ..for free. I am a poor guitar player, have my accent ..thnk God I look Italian ...people there, 100% nice Americans who accept my singing. Just wanted to say ...the best feeling in my entire life. The homeowner kept filling up my glass of Merlot...(Reserve) I played, Sinatra, Benett, M Buble, Rod Steward, big time Jobim, Motown, of course. Bread + thypical..Autm. Leaves & FMTMn ( fly me to..) + BM ( Besame M..), All of Me & Ray Charles a must. Each time I see U playing ...I get a little kick...& hope 1 day I get back... to keep trying to be better. Years are catching up w/me. A concern...that's all. Keep it up, Chris.
I most definitely must say that his interpretation is outstanding. Shame on the ignorant and completely uncultural audience. It is like “donner le confiture aux cochons” as the French would say. Thank you for this great performance to both of you 😊❤ Greetings from Denmark
Thank you. I plugged an old pair of stereo mics into the input of a Lumix G7 camera. Not sure what type of mics, they are 20 years old. I'm sure the mics today are superior.

Chris, Nice to hear great phrasing and a non technocrat Berkeley college sound( not that that’s all bad😜) but this is more soulful.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Standard changes to "There Is No Greater Love" in Bb should be lots of charts online if you do a search
