- Another rescore, once again for 'Spyfall', and based on an idea suggested by Andrew Hsieh, this one is for the ending scene of Part Two where the Doctor revisits Gallifrey!
For the scene, I have used 3 soundtracks, 'Pain Everlasting' and 'What Is His Name' from the Series 7 soundtrack and 'A Duty of Care' from the Series 9 OST!
I hope you all enjoy this one!

God, I miss Murray Gold's music...
Same :(
And now we got Segun Akinola to uproot the music in his own way
@@FluxMC3867His music is fine as music but it fails as Doctor Who music.
This era could have been genuinely saved by Murray being there. That is not a slam on Akinola, he's a good musician.
It just didn't work.
Mixing the closing moments of Spyfall with Murray Gold's wonderful scores makes it equally dramatic. 👏
I love the track duty of care, and I think it fits SO incredibly well here holy!!
AMAZING IT AMPLIFIED THE DOCTOR WHO TO WHAT IT SHOULD BE
The series 9 music is making me want to cry, gosh it makes the scene 1000x times less awkward and more emotional
Honestly Gold's music is just more emotional, and in this scene the doctor should've lied and said that her planet died in the time war. Rule 1
That was so much better than what we got
The pain jodie shows, with jist a few words. Why does she not get talked about more in a good light its honestly criminal
Ryan: You know everything about us.
Me: No we don't!
A say this fits this scene perfectly I wish they would use past music
I love your videos and rescores of Dr who. No one does it quite like you! Is there any way you can do some rescores of flux, the Dr and times meeting, Dr and swarms first meeting, Dr and tecteun, the drs talk with azure. So many wonderful moments. Even rescores Jodies speech in eve of the Daleks. Sorry for saying too much just really love your videos!
Brilliant!
Can I ask you how you uploaded this without getting claimed? I’ve been trying to upload rescored of my own but they keep getting claimed
i'll consider this cannon then
If there's one thing I truly hate about this new era, it's Akinola's forgettable, boring music
There’s no way that’s the master he died in missys regeneration unless he’s a past self of course
Yeah he's bound to be a past regeneration, most likely inbetween John Simm's Master and Missy, if it's after it would just ruin Missy's development!
Aaron S didn’t they confirm that John Simms master was the previous incarnation before missy
Missy being unable to recall the events of World Enough and Time/The Doctor Falls possibly due to timeline desynchronisation would mean that she forgot John Simm's master's recollection of his life onboard the Mondasian Colony Ship and his encounter with Missy, Bill and The 12th Doctor except "A very long time ago, a very scary lady threw me against a wall and made me promise to always, always carry a spare dematerialisation circuit. I don't remember much about her now but, she must have made quite an impression." Missy also claims her memory and details of her regeneration(s) prior to becoming "The Mistress" were "hazy" meaning that possibly without knowing it all future incarnations of the Master including Sacha Dhawan for however long Dr. Who lasts are between John Simm and Michelle Gomez. Something may happen/have happened prior to Missy's regeneration that erased the memory of possible countless millennia of her past lives so her most recent memory's may be the events of The End of Time and The Day of The Doctor where John Simm's master saves The Doctor from Rassilon and The Doctor saved him when Gallifrey was frozen respectively. This may have triggered Missy's redemption arc with no prior knowledge of her possible countless in-between previous incarnations atrocities and ever lasting hatred of The Doctor. Maybe 12's without reward speech finally got through to Missy from a distant memory heard by John Simm's master that after a very, very long time could have been subconsciously processed similar to how the Doctor had been unknowingly calculating how to freeze Gallifrey through all 13 of his first incarnations lives. I believe Missy to be the ultimate final incarnation of the Master who truly finally dies with honour at the hand's of John Simm's Master (Her long, long ago past malevolent self who would rather terminate his future existence than ever stand with The Doctor).
There's a wonderful (canon) story to explain it. It's called The Lumiat and is part of Big Finish's Missy series 2
@@HerohammerStudios is this where she is a spirit that helps her younger missy incarnation to be good, but her younger self gets annoyed with the goody two shoes and kills this version so she relents on being good, leading to the new incarnation. I thought that was a comic but I could be wrong and it was a audio story.
This make Chris Chibnal look bad
Series 12 would of been so much more tolerable with Murray's music instead of seguns boring ambient rubbish
No.
9 when he’s angry: Screams at a Dalek for not attempting suicide
10 when he’s angry: murders an entire family
11 when he’s angry: attacks an unthreatening Dalek with a wrench
12 when he’s angry: sends death threats to a girl and her entire city populous
13 when she’s angry: *pathetic throw*
I blame writing Jodie can do angry.
I have just found out that in the season 12 finale all cannon was wiped out! Not even music can save the show now. RIP Dr. Who! See you when I watch every season UP TO THE CHIBNAL era. And a lot of other fans have said goodbye. Just look at the numbers. WTF BBC!?!
Doctor who canon doesn't exist, there's been retcons across the history of the show, the first doctor and second doctor were human scientists who built the tardis up until the war games, the timelords were portrayed differently until the deadly assassin, the second doctor literally said in power of the daleks that renewal (regeneration wasn't named until 1974) was apart of the tardis.
@@TheProfessor230 Nothing has assassinated the character of the Doctor as much as the Timeless Child did though.
Sorry not my taste didn't fit
Not like the others he's done
Again not good
