As soon as you said that dreaded word ‘unpick’ - I groaned 😫😂 but you are absolutely right. It’s such a lovely water bottle cover and it would be a shame not to be able to get the most out of it, so it definitely is worth going to the trouble of unpicking and adding those rows. Do know that you have my sympathy and that I’ll be shuddering as each and every stitch is pulled back 😖😅
Paddington is FANTASTIC ❤💙!! A total sweetheart. You’ve done such a stellar job on him. I love the mix of yarns. The suitcase is the cherry on top 🥰 and those little yellow wellingtons ☺
Reeeeally looking forward to the progress on your cowl. That yarn combination is going to work up beautifully 😉! As you held the yarn up I actually said “ooouuu I like that!” out loud 😂
Don’t you just love it when yarn that you’ve been saving since day dot finally meets the project that it was always meant for 😉💕
Your bedside bears are beyond adorable!! No wonder Tim couldn’t resist wanting one! The expressions are perfection. Even the little guy has that sleepy little bedtime face already 😂❤ SO CUTE!
Take care with that shoulder 💝 I know that pain well. As hard as it is, complete rest (crochet-wise) for a few days and some localised heat on it really is the only way to avoid pain killers 😓 I hope it feels better asap 💗 Sending love and some of our summer heat!! Stay warm 💝 xx
Thank you so very much Lee. I’m pleased to,say the hot water bottle is unpicked,lengthened and put back to get her again. I’m so pleased I decided to do that as it looks so much better.
Paddington is one of my favourite makes for a while, he has his suitcase all finished now with his initials on the front. I’m so lucky Timothy enjoys helping me so much.
I find it really hard to not crochet but as bad as my shoulder is at the moment I know I have to. I’m so so sorry to hear you’ve not been good, I’ve got everything crossed for you that you have good results.

Love the hot water bottle cover. I have mine on my lap when crafting its lovely. My daughter also got me a hot water bottle with fluffy cover to put your feet in from Tesco to use when sitting, perfect! Love Paddington Bear thanks for sharing x

Oh Jeanette… I am the same, love all my crafts and flit from one to another like a blinking fairy ha ha. It’s been ages since I used a hot water bottle…but love that cover. Paddington turned out fab….and good luck with your test knit.
My hot water bottle hasn’t left my side for days Anne, it’s so cold here.
I’m hoping to try Paddington out with a 1.00 mm hook, but I need my shoulder to behave first. X

Hello dear Jeanette - I just adore all your new little friends and can’t wait to see your Little Cotton Rabbits Bear when he’s done ❤ I hope you’re coping with the weather a little better - time to snuggle under one of your beautiful handmade rugs! Alternatively you could come for a Summer holiday and visit us in Tasmania - we have beautiful blue skies(though not enough rain) and temperatures mainly in the 20s - I won’t say Australia in general though as the mainland has had floods, cyclones and disgustingly high temperatures 😂! I may just do that. Lol I’d love a holiday right now but unfortunately I don’t want to leave our little dog Zak, who is 16 and not in the best of health. I’d love to live in a warmer climate but hey, it makes it all the mire exciting when you have holidays xx

I've just bought a book with some of my birthday money from Shelley Husband, called The Cove. I watched the first season on Traitor here in the US. It was so good. I'm guessing you're watching a new season. My guilty pleasure is watching EastEnders every evening. I love it!

I just found your podcast. I went back and watched a lot of older ones. I live in Greer South Carolina and was born a d married in Spartanburg about 15 miles away. I also lived in England for 4 years. Husband was in the military. Look forward to seeing more podcasts.

We are forecast snow for Tuesday and most days the temperature is minus.
You're freezing while we frizzle (is that a word?), it was 37C yesterday and it was horrible January in UK is not so flash (post Christmas excitment) but I used to loathe February.

I like Alex's cowl and that photo of her is lovely - she's very photogenic.
I meant to say on your last vlog/podcast (whatever) that I loved your sparkly socks. I don't think I'd put them away for another year (I'm ancient), I'd just enjoy wearing them all the time 🥰😍🤩

It was -39°c when I got up this morning. (Alberta). High of -34°c for today. It was - 46°c with the wind chill. School cancelled. Sounds like colder tomorrow. Eek! Hibernating and knitting today. Hopefully will warm up next week. Love your line up of birds.
Oh my word I could cope with such cold temperatures. Next week is definitely going to be a stay indoors and craft kind of week. X

Your bears are great. Pop down to NZ where it's really hot at present. My shoulder is playing up too. Cant do anything that involves a twisting motion so I'm doing vanilla socks on 9in circulars . Hope your shoulder comes right after a break from crocheting. Love and kiwi hugs xx
Oh I’m desperate for a holiday but I just can’t leave our little dog Zak, he’s 16 and not doing so good. My shoulder isn’t so bad, I’m resting it and putting heat on it which seems to be helping. Xx

Hi Jeanette, the bedside bears are adorable and a miniature will be fantastic. The tiny skeins of yarn are gorgeous and will make beautiful socks. I hope your shoulder behaves itself soon x

Fantastic creations as ever Jeanette. The hot water bottle looks great with the few extra rows around the neck. You could add a few rows to the bottom and it will mirror the few rows at the top, above the bobbles row.
It is interesting to see how yarn brands differ. Kerry always says how the Toft yarn is bouncier and this proves it.
Love the hot water cover. I used to love a hot water water but seem to have moved on to those microwave wheat bags but they don't really compare
Yes I agree a few more rounds will mirror the top pattern. I absolutely love Toft yearn but I just could justify £38 for an hot water bottle cover.

I too got the gorgeous mini's from lovely Alex & Danny. The huge picture of Alex was hilarious 😂Tell Tim you might end up with burst pipes if you don't have the heating higher, especially when the temperature drops even lower, think I'd rather have the heating higher. The hot water bottle cover is lovely and your bears are adorable xx

Hi Jeanette it is cold here in West Sussex. We had a little flurry of snow on Monday. I’ve been doing some crocheting while I’m sat at home to keep me busy as I can’t go out to crowded places and I can’t work either. Do you think Tim would kindly make me a Paddington bear case and some of the toggle buttons. I’m in no hurry has I’m not working and money is tight at the moment. Take care and look after that shoulder try a hot water bottle on it xx

Hello hot dry south africa here...I can sympathize with you shoulder ... my thumb and shoulder get sore from the crocheting...I grow and then make cream from comfrey leaves couldn't manage with out it for pain and inflammation lovely to see you i miss everyone after vlogmas 💞
I have a heat pad on my shoulder at the moment, I’m just hoping it will help. Xx

How long do hot water bottles stay warm? We don't tend to use them in the US.
They stay warm for quite a long time, around 3 hours I’d say. X
