    Thank you very much for this video. I've had this machine for almost 2 years and it was until I watched it that realized I've been using it incorrectly.

    Thank you so much for this awesome video! I have owned the Hoist 100 for many years and you have helped me add some exercises to my repertoire. My weight stack doesn’t have the weight labels on them. Do you know how much each plate weighs?

    • @drgenejames
      @drgenejames  3 года назад +1

      Thank you, Becka! Each plate is 10 pounds

    Looks like you're getting your money's worth on that H100. I have the Hoist V-1 and have put a thousand hours on it. But I'm intrigued by the versatility of those outrigger arms. Do the movements feel wobbly? Thanks for the video!

    Thanks for the concise, yet informative video, far better than the accompanying manual booklet. Do you perform any kind of maintenance on your H100, as mine squeaks during operation? Keep up the good work!

    • @drgenejames
      @drgenejames  2 года назад +1

      I recommend that you find the area where the squeaking is occurring and try and determine why it is doing it. The only thing I do occasionally is use a fine steel wool for the guide rods on the weight stack and occasional cleaning.
      Thanks for your comment

    Hello Dr. Gene, Thanks for the great, Host 100 review. Is it possible to do a shoulder (military) press on the Hoist 100?
    Thanks again.

    • @drgenejames
      @drgenejames  3 года назад

      No, it does not allow for a shoulder press. The seat back does not adjust.

    Are the pivot point smooth & tight? Ball bearing construction?

      @drgenejames  3 года назад +1

      It is a superior home gym. I can recommend that you find a business in your area and give it a try.

    Are the bars ball bearing construction? Do they feel really solid/tight?

    • @drgenejames
      @drgenejames  3 года назад +1

      They are not ball bearing construction. But they feel very smooth, gym quality.
