Ethan Auringer Corp band is completely different from show bands both are awesome in their elements
Nestor Pelayo Yeah I wasn’t speaking in terms of entertainment but rather commenting on the control and coordination required in each. In DCI, you have to have way better coordination and control as there are actually visuals and drill and everything in DCI, musically and visually, is way more exposed.
I hear they practice 16 hours a day at least for HBCU marching bands. They train like athletes. Average days is more like 10 hours

JSU been going crazy since my cousin played to for them back in 2009-2013. I’m sure they were showing out before then too.
Clark Atlanta used to go crazy too. Now they barely have 40-50 people.

Tarpon pride I love this year for JSU, they bounced back from last year, and this year was ok for SU, and last year was a monster season for them..
Tyrone Hayes Miles Tubas are not to be slept on either, granted they do have a fleet of those big boys

BandLife Productions... Because they the the first to showcase show band style Internationally.... Which brought relavence to to genre, and solidified the first Nationally televised HBCU "Classic"
