My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

I have the Santos with date, with leather and rubber strap. But never getting rid of it. It’s a keeper. Same with my white lacquered dial speedy and 60th anniversary Bond SM. Maybe get the Santos with date and order the rubber strap from Cartier. I always get compliments when I wear that.
A Santos definitely fits in a large collection. It just depends on the other watches, and also on the occasions. A big advantage of the Santos medium is that it‘s super wearable, it looks cool with a casual outfit and elegant even with a suit.

Something inside me stopped me. In the end, I bought a Rolex Yacht Master 126622 (blue). And it was an unexpected and emotional decision. But I do not regret it
I too really need minimum a date on a 3 hander - - unless its a pure dive watch... I've tried on and considered the Santos (with date, large models and XL) a few times - i like the different strap options - - The smooth polished bezel puts me off - a scratch magnet for sure....) Whilst contemplating and sitting on the decision i got the call for an Explorer 2 polar = following a 4 year wait - this made my mind up for me and no brainer.... Still like the Santos though....
I had the exact same model, beautiful watch but it's jut feels a bit stuck in the middle: too dressy for everyday due to the bezel and dial, and not sporty enough to feel durable etc. Main reason I sold it though was the same reason as this guy; couldn't get the right fit on the bracelet. It's just hard to beat the rolex bracelets so I now have an exp1 and a DJ oyster.
@@monsieurdale9310 Thanks, and I understand. I have a 36mm DJ, 36mm Explorer I, and a 34mm OP, and I love them all. I must be very lucky because, even though I have small wrists, I get a perfect fit with the Santos medium whether on the bracelet or the leather strap. That's hit or miss, I guess. As far as style, you have a point but it fits well into my collection and I've never conditioned my fondness for a watch on how often I wear it. After all, if you own a number of watches you like you'll never wear any of them as much as you'd like, LOL. Thanks again.
@monsieurdale9310 i agree. I am bit of black and white person as well. Couldnt understand this watch's concept. Looks pretty but dainty on my arm. Not sure what it is, just intriguing all the time but not sure whether i like it or not. Interest is there but it doenst ring me

Cartier with Roman numerals is cleaner that Rolex with Roman numerals what’s with the one lume as 9 o’clock
@ it’s personal preference I don’t hate the one Lume at 9 o’clock. At the end of the day it’s still a Rolex
