I got a little too high on cannabis and by the second exercise I found myself playing along on my patio table with my fingers--with a grin on my face and my anxiety destroyed.
    Thanks for the video!

Funny story. 2 months ago I sat behind my drum set for the very first time in my life. I practiced for about 3 hours. The next day I was saying 1 e + a 2 e + a etc when my car blinker was clicking. I also couldn't remember how to hit buttons on my Ps5 for a while the next day haha.

Hi Brendan, would like to compliment you on this vid,as well as all your other ones. It's great how you break down the ,what sounds complex to a better approach. I've been playing for 35 years, I'm now 47. Of a fair standard, but I'm teaching one of my twin daughters the drums, and have just invested in a set of Yamaha Dtx6-x pads with new module ( due today!! ). I can now teach her more with simple patterns to apply round the kit. Many thanks for all your inspired vids, take care n best wishes fella,Mike Brown from Somerset,😊😉👊👊
