Does Sweden tax the foreign nationals with foreign incomes such as pensions and capital gains on investments?

Oh, that's a very complicated question! Best is to ask the people in the know: www.skatteverket.se/servicelankar/otherlanguages/inenglishengelska.4.12815e4f14a62bc048f4edc.html

Sweden: carefully explains its taxes in a RUclips video
USA: you owe us money, we now how much, but you have to figure out how much. If you don't pay - you go to jail lmao
(just a joke, I didn't want to hurt feelings of fellow Americans, especially considering the positive vibes of this channel :D)

@@sweden I saw an Chinese article showing that Sweden is the highest. But when you told me "no", I had searched google with English, the results displayed were much more professional, and the year is displayed too. Sweden isn't the highest personal income tax country exactly! There are many mistakes in the Chinese world. Good English is so important.💛

I think high taxes are a relative term, and also what you get in return as a citizen or a resident of a country. I think Taxes in Sweden should be viewed as a form of social investment in your society and the kind of nation you want to live in. I think Sweden is a fair country and does not have the law of jungle and helps its citizens and residents to live equitably and humanely. Is that so bad? Sweden spends a lot of money on its infrastructure, education, and healthcare with minimal corruption and waste. I think Sweden in comparison to US, Canada and most countries in EU is well ahead of all. I am not a Swedish citizen, but wish I had made that choice years ago.

Could Sweden help globally for all world. I know that Norway, Sweden and Germany have best rehabilitation programs for prisoners on all planet. World have a lot problems with criminals, and each country on planet need to have best practics and rehabilitation programms from best countries in it. Complex(for all countries, flexible for their conditions and culture) way to reduce criminal activity through best knowledge countries like Norway, Sweden and Germany could make global security more safe and up quality life in many countries. Just need to cooperate with each other(Sweden, Norway, Germany) on creating better standards and explanations how to deal with prisoners and why, possibly with those who not yet in criminal activity.

    *Matthew 22:17-21*
    *New Living Translation*
17 Now tell us what you think about this: Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”
18 But Jesus knew their evil motives. “You hypocrites!” he said. “Why are you trying to trap me? 19 Here, show me the coin used for the tax.” When they handed him a Roman coin,[a] 20 he asked, “Whose picture and title are stamped on it?”
    21 “Caesar’s,” they replied.
“Well, then,” he said, “give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.”
