If every player put halfling in their deck then it's no wonder it performed very poorly. I predicted as much before the PT and also called Greg orange being the highest ranked of the 4c players
I'm surprised to see Yawg below Murktide and Hammer. While I agree that PT results hold more weight than MTGO challenges, it's worth noting that Murktide and Hammer have been almost entirely absent from top 32s online for weeks now. I agree with these rankings in the somewhat insular PT meta, but I wonder whether that applies to the larger meta which won't be 20% scam.
Hammer was highly outside top 32 because all its pilots did very poorly on limited part. WR of Hammer was very high during PT overall. This + the fact that people stopped overloading sideboard with artifact hate makes Hammer potentially hidden OP for next couple weeks (same situation was with Lurrus ban).

Anyone else annoyed that wizards arbitrarily changed the rakdos scams name to evoke? Deck names are deck names. We used to get awesome names like frog in a blender. Miss that.
It wasn't exactly arbitrary. Karsten's meta article before the Pro Tour explained why, albeit implicitly: scam is a word with explicitly negative connotations and wotc wanted to avoid referring to a deck with an explicitly negative name. A lot of people complaining about them calling it evoke seem to have missed that their reasoning was given if you look for it.
@DoctorTog and rose by any other name is still a rose. Deck names have a reasons behind them. Sligh for example, was a players name. Also, also if a player builds a breakout deck and names it something awesome, there is no garenty that wotc won't just change it. Being the creator and name give to a deck that does well is a pretty big honor.
@@anhfjdzbxjxisk1929 Okay cool. I was simply pointing out wotc's change was not arbitrary or without reason, as many magic players state it was. I personally dislike that they force guild names and shard names into everything instead of just listing the colours so you don't need to preach to me about it.
My brother used to play his own version of D&T and had very good results with it, he won several local tournaments and then Yorion was banned. His deck never recovered from that and he switched to a different archetype. But of course that just anecdotal experience.
The metagame is basically changed completely after a paper event. That's what i've always thought: mtgo meta is not the reality of things, don't look at it if you play on paper like me, follow what the cards do to your senses

Funny that a card called Fable of the Mirror Breaker helps you win the mirror.
Flavor win!

It was the 2nd worst PT of the history
