    Way to go, Radio K! Glad to see you guys are still going strong via radio & the internet. I left Minneapolis in Jan 1996. about 4 yrs after "K" started. At that time, still, they were only on the AM station. No FM spot at that time. Nice to see there's at least one good thing going on in Minneapolis. That city has been gentrified so badly that I barely even recognized it the last time I was in Mpls, which was in June, 2000. 16 yrs later -SO much more has changed -some yuppie scum probably thinks for "the better", but, no, I wouldn't want to live there again, it is a long way from the Minneapolis, MN in which I grew up.

    Hes tuned down. He uses some sort of reverb pedal (or setting on the amp). He is also miced up aswell as plugged in to an amp. And of course the main reason for his sound, he is Kurt Vile. :)

    C(3rd fret), G(3rd) and F are in there. Rhythm is the important part. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

    minor issue: the song title on this video is incorrect (it isn't actually the "title track" per se, but a quasi-title track). It should read "Wakin on a Pretty Day." Only the album title uses the word "Daze."

    I love Kurt's music, but he's definitely a "studio" musician...his live stuff is always wonky in its timing

    • @acronov
      @acronov 3 года назад

      I've seen him play live and it was on point. I think he's just a wavy dude and kind of lets it flow when he's playing solo.
