My priority Date for F2A is Nov 25,2021. I am Documentary qualified since Jan 18, 2023. I hope I’ll get current with the August Bulletin… but not sure if that’s gonna happen.
My husband’s PD is July 15, 2021. He was interviewed last year, but wasn’t not able to get his visa after interview because April 2023 Visa Bulletin retrogressed. He was given a 221g, which information us to monitor the Visa Bulletin monthly and once his PD is current already just contact the US Embassy Manila asap, which I did already as a petitioner, but still no further instruction received as of now. He was informed by someone at the US embassy Manila that he won’t be needing to interview again, but just mail the passport with letter attachment once PD is current. But we don’t really if it’s true or not. And also he already repeated his medical.
Please talk about Accra Ghana Embassy pls sir! We need to know what’s going on, we have been waiting for interview letter for over 3months now 😢!
Fuc*** that F2B category in Philippines, they're giving hard time to people waiting for priority date become current, my son is 21 already yesterday! Their visa is paid 2 years ago and yet the priority date ain't moving!
They should hire more interviewer.....or waive interview for those DQ😂

Your date of being documentarily qualified is what gives you your place in que to get the interview letter .Of course you have to reach your priority date too.

If Immediate Relatives don't have to go by the Visa Bulletin. Then how to do we track our wait times ? Thank you
This is a very good question. I've been wondering this for myself as well.
If immediate relative category and DQd, all you can do is wait for the interview letter. There is no visa number to track because of being immediate relative. This is good because the US only takes a certain number of cases and then after the maximum is reached, the other cases have to wait for their number to be reached.

@@lkkpet well, that’s not the case… my sister has become documentary qualified last June but her PD hasn’t current
@@ShaherBano-c3j I’m not sure what the sibling time frame or process is. Immediate relative (CR 1 and IR 1) are the cases I’m referring to. Other visa categories have different process time frames and rules.
@@ShaherBano-c3j also not quite sure how a full year can pass and not have the priority date pass.

We were DQd 11/17/23 for our CR 1. The interview will be in Lagos. We just have to be patient. Lagos is very slow but the good news is we will get the letter.

What is the backlog for spousal visa interviews at the US Embassy in Ghana? My case has been DQ since September 2023
Our case is also a spousal visa and I’m a US citizen DQd 11/17/23. My husband’s interview will be in Lagos. We have an attorney and no one knows when the letter will come. All we can do is be patient .
In the Nairobi embassy they have never issued interview letters since March 2024. Stuck from DQ Oct 2022 ...we have and are still suffering due to this long wait times for spouses of US citizens being processed at the Nairobi embassy
@lkkpet I really understand your frustration it's exhausting. Not being able to ask a live person is a nightmare. As you stated it's a waiting game have to remain in prayer.

Nobody has an answer and every U.S department involved will refer you to another department involved in the process! 😂

Nobody wants to be transparent about the process timeline! Only a global number of applications and not by post!

@@SanDiegoImmigrationlawyer Submitted i-130 and i-485 in november 2021. It has been in active review status since 464 days for i-130 and 265 days for i-485. Wait times jump from 6 months to 2 months and then 6 months, so on and so forth. Is that normal ? Files are in NBC. Kindly let me know.
