Regarding the word “blot”, it is used in Deuteronomy 9:14- “ ‘ Let me alone, that I may destroy them and BLOT out their name from under heaven; and I will make of you a nation mightier and greater than they.’ ‘ Moses interceded for the Jewish people who had made a golden calf for worship while Moses was on the mountain, hearing from the Lord. The Jewish people were spared, because Yeshua is merciful.
teaching the Bible in a language not your mother tongue is different than being able to speak a language in conversation. I speak conversational German, but I would not be able to teach the Bible in German, nor be able to do a good job speaking German in the medical field which I worked in for many years. That requires an additional level of fluency.
