I agree! In fairness to the Ibanez, it is definitely in a different price range than the Apollo. The pickups in it just don’t seem to get along well with my ReVolt very well. It’s part of the reason I’ve been moving toward passive pickups in my basses. That’s not to say the Ibby is bad. It’s sounded great for a lot of purely clean stuff. I am honestly enjoying the Apollo more, though. I’ve still got a bass vi and a custom 5-string to compare it to in some later videos too. Those are both passive, though they are also single-coils.
