25:40 I like how this shot mirrors the very first time we saw Moon in the first film - amazed by theatre, only this time, he's not just a spectator, bringing it full circle.
This movie is one of Illumination's best, I believe. It actually made me cry, which I wasn't expecting!! Not to mention the beautiful music, and the crazy intimidating villain!
You know Sing 2 was the reason Illumination became great, and the fact it managed to keep it up with Spider-Man: No Way Home during its release is impressive.
When this movie became available in Netflix, I was more than thrilled to see what they had in store for us and they have, once again, surpassed my expectations for it. Everyone in the gang, except Mike, having their places in the spotlight and Buster having the respect and recognition that he deserves as an individual who placed his mark in entertainment history, just like he said he would in the first one. A character in Regular Show of Cartoon Network once said, “Nothing’s impossible through music,” and he was right. Granted, Buster had to lie his way in again but nevertheless, he showed everyone that he and his friends have their hearts and souls placed in performing and once they’ve done that, no one can ever doubt them for it. This is a true movie for all music lovers out there, myself included. Don’t let anyone ruin your vibes. 🎶🎤
26:28 I'm fairly certain that almost nobody would hear "All of our favorite performers" and think, "What about Mike?" 😂 Although, if you had said "characters" instead of "performers", some people might've thought, "What about Eddie?"
did you recognize Leticia Wright voicing Nooshy? I really loved both Sing movies and can't choose which movie is my favorite among the 2. they each bring something different to the Sing universe. thanks for this reaction, Eric. 😃
Porsha and Ash could relate to each other, and they both try to appease someone, Lance for Ash and Jimmy for Porsha, and believe that they care for them, but ultimately they are ungrateful and unfaithful to them, and ultimately they decide to let them go and learn to sing for themselves. oh, and not to mention that Lance and Jimmy are Total super jerk dinkleschplatts

The moment Ruby appears with Clay gets me teary every time. Loved these movies. And I am glad you enjoyed them...
This is such a good sequel (especially because they decided to kill of the mouse at the end of the first one)
porcha's part is my favorite I love her story arc :> Though final was great too.

I wonder if there will be a movie where Buster has to tell the truth for the whole story?
I’m not the biggest fan of illumination but I love this movie so much. Definitely one of my comfort movies
When I first watched this I had covid lol so when Johnny sings and finds the courage to stand up for himself I started bawling the first time
19:50 Jimmy Crystal sleeps in his birthday suit.

Halsey play’s Porsha Crystal
Yay! Been looking forward to this one after the 1st one. IMO, this is way better than the first one.

Didn't realize it was her till afterward!
unrelated to this, but have you seen the movie Looper? would definitely recommend, same director as Knives Out
