I like the ensemble feel with each character having thier own insecurities and story to tell. The frustrating thing is that Buster never seems to learn from any of his mistakes. He just keeps lying and getting people around him into trouble.

I love Johnny. He's got to be my favorite. And the way he gets into the music at the end and his dad finally recognizes how talented he is and gives him a hug! Ugh! Hit me in the feels.
Don't know if you've heard yet but Taron Egerton also played Elton John in Rocket Man. People like to joke that this movie was his audition for the roll since Elton John wrote "I'm Still Standing."
I really dont get why the SING movies have mixed opinions about them, i personally think theyre some of the best films Illumination has made!!

I hope he does Sing 2, because that movie helped illumination a lot.
From what we know, everyone sang their own songs, which did Taron Egerton big favours given how it was part of what landed him the Elton John biopic role
Definitely an underrated film and has amazing vocals to go with it I do love how each character has their own story, and how the final song reflects them confronting their own obstacles.

1:37 stupid theory nobody probably cares about but I think is funny: This movie came out the same year as Zootopia. Since it seems weird to have two pig characters in the main cast, I think the pig was originally written to be a rabbit, with the whole joke or rabbits having lots of kids. But then someone remembered that Zootopia had a bunny protagonist, whose family also had the whole joke of having lots of kids. So they changed it last minute.
That's a very interesting theory, but I don't think it's possible. With all the work that goes into animated movies, I don't think they can make such a big change last minute.
Didn't realize you hadn't seen this one. It's always such pleasant to watch and sing along.

Well Eric, you just happen to watch a movie that, even after years being released and also some time after Zootopia was, it still holds up to this day. I remember watching this when it became available in Netflix and since then, I never stop thinking about it, especially hearing the songs provided. Like you said, I too was surprised how talented the cast was for this film, including Taron Egerton and Scarlett Johansson. The characters that I admire the most are Johnny and Mena, voiced by none other than Tori Kelly, a real life singer whose career began when she presented herself in the American Idol. If you got emotional from this, then prepare yourself for the sequel that sits well in the rare category for surpassing its predecessor. Good luck.
Fun fact; Johnny actually caused the accident that created the jam he got caught in. It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment.

You will also like "sing 2". Both movies are my favourite. After "Sing 2" if you have time, can you plz do a reaction on "Banana Fish" or"Frieren"..both are anime series(japanese). I really like to know your opinion about them(I think, you will really like them)
Let's be honest, now.
If the competition was still on, it 100% would have came down to Johnny or Mina. But I get the feeling that Johnny would have taken home the gold.
All of them were fantastic, but I got a soft spot for Johnny.

I'd really recommend watching Rocketman, one of the best biopics I've seen, and Taron as Elton was revolutionary
