I feel like the center and line distribution are adequately distributed given each of the members' roles! It's endearing when the members perform. The formations were nicely planned out. Rappers beautifully frame the vocalists during the bridge + prechorus while the vocalists support the rappers' spotlights with interactive/playful choreo. Everyone shines during the chorus :^) I especially love how elegant the moves are during the vocals and then fun during the rapping. I didn't love the first verse when I heard the song, but the vocals and maya's rap are what reeled me in finally. Love Jurin but still not a huge fan of the opening. I cannot deny that it is a strong (in a good way) introduction though.

I believe they won 2 awards last year in Japan, meaning at least their home nation has taken notice of them. Right now they are promoting in Korea, and it's just a matter of time before they will be embraced there as well. The end goal obviously is promoting here in the west at some point, likely the U.S. which i also see as doable and highly likely.

It's not shocking as only groups from Reality Shows and big companies can blow up right from the very beginning. Plus, they're a Japanese group. These girls will need to put a lot of work in, and we will keep supporting them~ One day their name will be so big that this industry can no longer ignore their massive talents!
I believe they won 2 awards last year in Japan, meaning at least their home nation has taken notice of them. Right now they are promoting in Korea, and it's just a matter of time before they will be embraced there as well. The end goal obviously is promoting here in the west at some point, likely the U.S. which i also see as doable and highly likely.

while XG's songs and performances are being so good and getting a lot of attentions around the world, nevertheless it is quite undeniable that these 2 XG tapes have also brought them some much more attentions and a lot of new fans globally. they need more exposure globally along with luck as well. sometimes being talented will still always require luck as well. best of luck. BTW this new single track 'shooting star' is a bop as expected.
they need to take the same approach that BTS took. They worked the internet and reached International superstar status, only then did the Korean Public get behind them.
@@codebrker24 clearly they are aiming at the global market rather than just the Korean market and their own market (Japan). that's all why all of their released title tracks so far are in English.
traditionally and literally Japanese singers don't go beyond their comfort zone which is their domestic market. don't get me wrong, not saying they are incapable. instead the Japan market is the 2nd biggest music market besides the US and also they may not have the urge to do that. language may also be another reason. in conclusion, the global market > K + J markets, or should I say aren't these 2 markets technically included in the global market?
