A sequel for this game is needed for sure. I absolutely love Fusions and yeah, the endgame content is kinda just collecting characters with no real challenge left, aside from the tournament ladder. Even still, I love this concept, its very creative and I'd love to see this either remastered with additional content or given a sequel using OG, Z, GT, Super, Xeno and Heroes characters all wrapped up in one package with a fully customizable OC character. And hopefully, they won't make Super Saiyan cost like, half your energy meter. That was annoying. Edit: Favorite Fusions with OC were Chokly (For the Hair, Broly, Pinich and then Goku SS4 (Peak)
A lot of passion and effort clearly went into this game, which is why i'm so confused why this game wasn't more popular. It's in my top 5 DB games of all time, just for the sheer uniqueness of the gameplay

I was JUST thinking about and looking up this game. Fusion is such a unique concept in fiction that Dragon Ball really popularized and defined before things like Steven Universe or whatever. So, to make fusion the main concept of a DB game is really cool, especially back when this game first came out along with Xenoverse doing new things.
Dragon Ball Fusions is one of my favorite games in terms of base mechanics. The mixing and matching of characters is great, but I enjoy the combat systems so much more. My dream game would be either a direct sequel with more characters and fusions, or a Jump crossover game that keeps the Dragon Ball characters but drops the Fusions, instead being a game where you can make a character that fits in one of a dozen popular anime styles and recruit a rag-tag group of your favorite anime characters to do the same combat as Fusions.
I recently replayed this last time I played was when it released and honestly one of the most fun dragon ball experiences I've had in a while, game is such nostalgia and seeing character interaction we would never see (as basic as they are in game) are charming
I never finished the main story for this game but I got pretty darn far. This game is so unique, it needs a switch re-release so bad. Especially with a dub
Remember playing this game as a kid all the time, was insanelyyy fun. The only issue I had with it is, is that U needed to use street pass to get fusions "outside" the game. Aside from that, this game was awesome to play on the 3DS, would play a sequel def.

I absolutely loved playing fusions when I was a child and I loved it so much that when I rebought a 3ds it was the first game I bought a physical copy of. I really love the elements of the game and the only thing I dislike is that you couldn’t recruit characters until the third area, I really badly wanted to get rid of the group and replaced them as fast as I could. I just wish that Nintendo atleast released a HD port to the switch or whatever console is next…
I remember when I first got the game and played through it like 25 times. My 3ds literally says I have 155 hours on the game and I only had it for three months 😭. This game deserves so much recognition

Update after the 3ds online features shut down. The dlc still works if you have it downloaded. Wifi battles dont work, but thats expected. The ziku kun radar still works though. For those who dont know, when they added the extra content, they added the ziku kun radar as well, I beleive in the connections menu. This will let you scout characters using your local wifi, and is a great way to complete your roster and get characters early.
I remember watching Ndukauba play this game and it made me want it badly. I remember being upset that I couldn't get Future Gohanks because I had the English version
I honestly would encourage you all to sign the petition to get it to come back. There's a YTer who goes by SLOplays and he did a video for this 3yrs ago and made a petition. I've signed it. I really really REALLY would love to see a DB Fusions 2 for the switch or switch 2. (preferably the switch!)
In case you happened to read this; for those who planned on getting the game, make sure you do so immediately before the end of April 8th when Nintendo's eShop shutdown for good, because you need the update version or the game becomes literally unplayable! My first time playing years ago the game wouldn't let me play until I get the update, and the updated version is only available through the 3DS eshop.

fun tip to beginers, power type are is the slowest stype then technique typer is faster and speed type being the fastes, but not just that race also effects it, saiyans are stonger but slower, power saiyans are really slow without buffs but also really strong, plus if you picked saiyan you can learn super saiyan which makes you MUCH STRONGER and mega fast the first turn trasnformed

Just finished playing trough the main story a few days ago, crazy to see a video about it coming out now! I really liked it, the level design is crazy good and the gameplay is really enjoyable. What I'm having trouble with is the post game. A lot of the characters and cooler fusions are locked to post game, and unlocking new characters from Rifts can be such a long and boring grind, not to mention some of the requirements for certain fusions. Overall, a good game that I really enjoyed, I liked that it wasn't just another retelling of Z's story, but most of its cool content is locked in the post game, which isn't bad but can get boring pretty fast, since the side quests are all a little same-y, and unlocking a single character from Rifts is incredibly tedious (unlocking Hit cost me HOURS, and I still can't find some characters like SSJ Trunks) I'd love to see a sequel, and an active multiplayer scene for it.
