- What if I told you that you could have bread at home that is hard to distinguish from the bread from a good bakery? What if I gave you the easiest possible recipe to achieve quick bread that has the perfect consistency? Welcome to my video on the new perfect recipe for quick bread. This bread is so soft and delicious, I’ve stopped buying bread!
Here’s what you’ll need to make it:
Bread flour: 2 ½ cups (320g)
Warm water: 1 cup (250 ml)
Brewer’s yeast: 3 tsp. (10g) or dry yeast: 1½ tsp. (5g)
Sugar (to feed the yeast): 1 tbsp.
Salt: 2 tsp.
There's no kneading involved, you just need to follow a very easy and quick process and you'll have your own no knead bread in no time!
I will guide you through each step, from mixing the ingredients to letting the dough rise, and finally baking it to perfection. The result? Two loaves of bread that are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and taste absolutely heavenly (especially when paired with butter).

Hi. Lovely recipe. I m watching from India. Is it necessary to use bread flour or we can use whole wheat flour? Will it give the same result?
Hi, thanks for watching! I would try with half whole wheat and half bread flour first. Whole wheat flour has a lot of fiber and the bread has a hard time rising, but with the help of the bread flour it should rise nicely. I'm preparing a new bread video recipe with whole wheat flour, I'll publish it in the upcoming weeks.
Din Romania o intrebare:
Se poate adăuga 2 linguri cu ulei ( 30ml) si daca se poate, cand se adăugă uleiul. Multumesc. 🌹

A question from Romania:
You can add 2 tablespoons of oil (30ml) and.... if possible, when the oil is added. Thank you.🌹
Hi Elena, you could add the oil at the beginning when you mix the flour with the wet ingredients. If you try it, please let me know how the bread turns out with the oil, I'm curious! I guess the inside would be even softer, but I never tried this. Multumesc!
Hi dear. Watching from New Zealand. Sending you best wishes.
Hello and thanks for watching ❤️
What if mix 100 g wholewheat flour + 220 g bread flour?! Should I use the same amount of water or more?
I would increase the amount of water slightly, say by 10 or 20 ml.
@@Food-Language thank you and if I add 3 tbsp of flax seeds as well?! So should I add 40 ml water?
The extra seeds don't need additional water. Just add a little and see how the dough is. You can see the consistency of mine in the video and compare it to yours. If it feels too dry, add a little more. Make sure to mix well before adding water, the dough will seem dry when you start mixing, but when all the flour is mixed it will be more moist.
Today I’ll try to bake a bread on your bread recipe😂😂is a first time for me.
Let me know how it went!
Can you sub honey for sugar and would the amount be the same?
Absolutely! Yes, the amount is the same, you can also skip it. I like to add it and boost my yeast, but it does its job without it too.

No rise time(s) in between?
Hey, does this recipe work with spelt flour too?
Yes, absolutely! When I experiment with new flours, I try to mix them with bread / AP flour first and see how it goes. Spelt gives the bread an amazing flavor, but the bread is a little denser and more rustic (not a bad thing, I love rustic bread).
@@Food-Language alright, thank youu :)
My pleasure
@2:06 after creating the two ball shapes, and then flattening them out again, was there rest time needed?
It's not necessary, I went straight to the next step. You can give them 5-10 minutes to relax, that way it will be even easier to flatten them, but it doesn't make much difference.
@@Food-Language thank you! I’m going to try making this recipe today
@vegeta88 Please let me know how it went!
@@Food-Language soooo it didn’t look anything like yours, but it tasted good lol
Can you make this bread with whole weath flour??
Hi Claudette! Yes, you can, but I wouldn't replace all the flour with just whole wheat. Whole wheat flour has a lot of fiber and the dough has a hard time rising. Mixing half and half with bread flour changes everything! I'm working on a new video recipe with whole wheat flour that I'll post in the next upcoming weeks.
@@Food-Language thank you very much. Good to know!
Hello, will it work with AP flour?
Yes it will, just check the protein content of the flour. 10%+ is good, 12% is ideal. Less than 10% will get you a denser crust and it will not rise as nicely.
Thank you very much for replying! I buy Trader Joe's organic unbleached AP flour and it only says "Protein 3g".
Trader Joe's AP flour has 10% protein content (3g refers to 1/4 cup or 30g of flour), not perfect, but it will definitely work.
