I ordered the spitfire hornet in 1965 with lighting and speedo/tach. Most streamlined machine I ever had. Of all i've had one i would want tst one back the most
Beautiful bikes, all three. I would keep the Lighting. I'm a road race fan, I like the alu rims and the downswept exhausts. What were bikes simple and pure back in the day... Excellent.
Tough call. I think the Firebird scrambler is the most practical therefore it would get the most use. They are all beautiful. I have a lot of BSA‘s and the one that gets used most is the 69 thunderbolt. I have a 1970 Firebird scrambler that after much work I still cannot get right. I still love it though and will keep trying. A single carb makes life a lot easier. I think the dual carbs give a little more grunt but not enough to make the complications worthwhile. I vote you keep the Firebird. Very nice video thank you.
Yes, the Thunderbolt was a good one, just like the Triumph TR6 with one carb, a bit easier especially when the carburetors are 40 years old and possibly worn out. Thank you for your vote! BTW: Our survey is in our RUclips Community page, and there's one other vote for the spitfire. Go get him! Thanks again
@@bullpencycles Hey Dave a follow up. In 69 he traded the Hornet on a new Sportster. Then joined the Marines and went to Nam for 13 mos. Got out in late 71 nd traded the Sportster for a 72 Harley FX boat tail Super Glide. My buddy Larry was a bad motor scooter.

I guess it depends if you spend any time in the dirt. I myself would love the Hornet. One of the most beautifully designed motorcycles ever.
Yeah, its neat!

The Firebird scrambler is the one I think you should choose they all are worthy to have in your collection
Very interesting how this is turning out! Thank you for responding. I have to keep my inclination quiet to hear from everyone!
Beautiful, beautiful, I've always heard that they are hard to kick over, any thoughts?
No, they're pretty easy to kick. You're only kicking 325cc at a time
The 66, not 67, Spitfire is the charm out of those 3 for sure!
You're right. Sometimes with so many bikes I get the years mixed up.
Those bikes had an energy transfer ignition. No battery ac lighting as on t100 c. Different stator etc
Yes. Correct! Thank you
Hi Dave
Thanks for replying to my comments not many people do that these days,Cheers,Robert.:)
Sorry, I wasn't more help. CZ is not an area of my "expertise", and I use that term loosely. LOL
@@bullpencycles Thanks Dave i love your videos keep uploading 5*,cheers.
Beautiful bikes
Thank you!
You should give one to me!
Keep all of them...😊
Yeah, im gonna need a bigger boat tho!
Keep the Hornet. My buddy Larry had one in 1968.
Yes. That was my choice too

Hornet, race bikes always win!
Keep the Spitfire!!
Startem up.
Will do. That's planned for part 2.
Keep the 66!👍
I kept the Hornet!
Sorry, late to the party. Keep the one with the low pipe. My uncle had a BSA scrambler and it burnt the shit out of my calf. Just sayin’.
Yeah, that's true. The high pipers do that!
