No one never knew there's a second yoshi's island like this one but you have to fight baby bowser's father in the last boss level. This game was my first yoshi game.

Hands down, the funniest boss in the game, if only for the effort that went into putting up the illusion of being another magically upsized enemy without actually _being_ one.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the legitimately brutal levels that lead up to these boss fights. Paired with the DS controls, I’m astonished I made it through as a child
This game has one of the most epic bowser fights imo.
though it feels like its missing something without a theme like the final boss theme from yoshi's island, the music box like music just takes a lot out of the fight.

the giant shy guy is not even a challenge for one thing, Baby Bowser. Use him against this boss, and you will have like unlimited ammo against it

When I first reached this boss I thought: this is gonna be hard. But then I realized it was so easy

Yoshis Island DS will always be one of my favorite games. Even if I never beat it
It's my favorite yoshi's island game of all, even more than the original
Good lord this brings back so much nostalgia. Makes me remember when I first played this game and absolutely hated Six Face Sal's Fort. I got stuck on that for a long time, though I never had a game over on it. Bowser's Castle on the other hand... Oh, and The Cave That Never Ends. That level can go to a hell worse than itself.

Jeremiah Plays Priscilla wasn't really hard, just really intimidating for the younger players seeing them for the first time. I speak from experience.
I guess that's true, but the ghost, bungee plant thingy, fish, and Priscilla feel all like they are in the wrong place... the fish shoulda been the boss before the purple pararnha plant. And the reflector should be the boss six-face-Sal.

Having played this game, I'd...forgotten just how big Hector the Reflector was. Or at least, how big he STARTED. :p
I could NEVER beat Bessies Bass as a child and I think it had something to do with not knowing how to defeatr them.

That second boss can be easily annihilated once you unlock Baby D.K. Also, why didn't you just lure Priscilla out with a Shy Guy instead of risking yourself?
TBH the music in this game kinda sucked. The boss themes aren't suspenseful like the 1st game. Also the castle theme sounds more like a ghost house theme than a haunting castle theme like in the 1st game
But the part I love about the game is the ability to switch babies!! Baby DK is my favorite here

I played this to completion. As a kid I I over looked that fact that there not Ko but they straight up die
Good game but it's very difficult. I had to play the game on an emulator to save state like what Bikdiponabus is doing right now in his let's play. It took me a good while but I finally managed to get all the flowers, all the red coins, all the character coins, and all the museum exhibits. Oh and 30 stars in each of the levels as well.
Okay, I'm glad someone else found this damn game hard. I didn't know what made it hard. Was it the fact that we didn't have the use of items like in the original like the Flying Cloud items or the extra egg item?
