To those who beat any of these stages 100% first try, I respect you. At least in the Yoshi games you can flutter jump multiple times in the air. In the Mario games you have to land to flutter jump again.
Yoshi Island DS is also not one I would personally recommend 100% as that one can get unfair at certain times, but it’s a fun game to play nonetheless.

Poochy Ain't Stupid: Once you get down how Poochy works, the course's difficulty isn't all that bad. Kamek Kerfuffle: While the first three phases are manageable, it's the final phase that's the most unforgiving. The final phase alone, combined with the finicky nature of the Joy-Con Controllers, are why I was never able to get all the Smiley Flowers.
I still think Baby Bowser's fight in YCW is longer than Kamek. It took me around 3 minutes 30 seconds to beat Kamek, 4 miniutes 15 seconds to beat Baby Bowser.
the interesting thing about yoshi's island is that it's not a hard game normally if your going from beginning to end its real easy hell most kids can beat it. It's only when your trying to 100% it that the difficulty goes up because you basically have to do a no damage run while collecting everything and its not just yoshi mario in general does this with his games too really dives home that mario is for both beginners and veterans. And what's more the games recognize you as being a pro player if you 100% everything by giving you a legit hard level that's not only hard to 100% complete but just complete in general
There's something of a bug in the SNES version of Poochy Ain't Stupid that lets you keep the level from auto-scrolling, making the level MUCH easier. First, if you can perform a chain of flutter jumps off of the bats at the start of the level, you can make it to the top of the wall Yoshi starts in front of. If you then flutter jump as far to the right as you can, you'll bypass the invisible trigger that starts the auto-scrolling.
Games are relatively easy without the 100% completion in mind, but with them, the games become *far* more complex & difficult. Good to see those Poochy levels in here.
The last one is BS! Imagine you miss a SINGLE red coin and you have to play that level ALL OVER again... (Yes, I saw that and it hurts just seeing this😭)
Happened to Proton Jon that one time just because of that pillar at the beginning of the level and you could tell how pissed he was after finding out about it. 😅
Surprised Extra 6 Castles Masterpiece Set from Yoshi's Island wasn't included in this as it is also a brutal level. But yeah Endless World of Yoshi's is one I remember fondly trying to find every single secret is so difficult. Think the first time I finished it I had a score of around 34/100 😅
All the DS bonus levels are approaching Kaizo levels tbh. The people who say that game is forgettable clearly haven't played those levels, because I'm scarred for life from them lol.
I hate Yoshi DS separation screen so much, it ruined my experience playing as a child and today as an adult it still makes it difficult to watch. Nice video tho
I thought Kamek's Revenge looked hellish, but wow, that last final is the most sadistic game level I've ever seen. 100%ing that almost looks "The Perfect Run" level difficult. It's so trippy because all the janky platforming and awkward puzzle solutions that require more than a moderate knowledge of game mechanics make it feel like a near-Kaizo rom hack but created by Nintendo devs. I respect the insanity.
I do not own any Yoshi's Island games but go ahead. He warned that the last one in this video, given its length, is over 10 minutes long, longer than some final bosses in other games like Kirby Star Allies of maybe Miitopia (I'm not going to spoil what said final bosses are but you'll get an idea if you ever play either game.)
If a Kamekmtormenting you through hellish platform bits isn't hell enough. Let's add ski's!! (Seriously, I gave up on the normal ski level, not worth the stress and new controller after you've smashed yours man! )
for woolly world, while yes, 4-S was pretty tough, i'd argue that 2-S is way harder. in 4-S it's just a matter of skill, but in 2-S, you have to go through three trials of enemy jank to get to the end. the first one isn't bad, second is a bit of a pain, but the third? i couldn't tell you how long i was stuck there trying to keep from accidentally killing the monty mole.
GOOD GOD, Endless World of Yoshi's just broke me. It's so long, hard and ridiculous (especially that part where you're falling thru deadly spikes), and it just made me feel dead inside. It's damn near impossible, and it should be classified as a hate crime!!! Whoever designed the level is going to hell. Endless World of Yoshi's is so terrible, it makes NSMB Wii 9-7 seem fun and easy (HA!), SM3DW Champion's Road seem like child's play, and Kamek Kerfuffle feel like a cakewalk. Even Kamek's Revenge is cowering in fear of it!
I can't believe that I actually do the Super Mario Advance 3 levels! and how annoying was the Kamek Revenge, but somehow I beat that levels at 100% at the time...just wow
Yes, Baby Mario crying is the default Worst Sound Ever for a lot of Nintendo gamers. But I will always maintain that the scream Yoshi does on _every. single. flutter jump_ is worse just because you have to hear it constantly.
I felt so disappointed with Yoshi islands Ds. The baby mechanic was interesting, but the execution was so bad considering how amazing the original was. Like what happened, to the music, graphics and controls. Notice how that developer never did anything again! They were banished!😅

Normal Yoshi levels:
Chilled-out, relaxed, a good time for beginners.
Extra Yoshi levels:
Just ridiculous.
It's levels like these that make you ask: "Is it really worth saving Baby Mario for all this pain?"
To those who beat any of these stages 100% first try, I respect you. At least in the Yoshi games you can flutter jump multiple times in the air. In the Mario games you have to land to flutter jump again.
Meanwhile I'm still struggling with New SMW2 Yoshi Island Hack and its way harder and longer to 100% everything
well you can flutter jump multiple times in super mario galaxy 2 by crouching briefly before pressing and holding A again
Seeing that you missed one Red coin in the last level which is so damn long is definitively not frustrating at all
