- Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Richard Marles says it is a “real critical” time for Ukraine.
Mr Marles’ comments come after the government pledged $100 million in funding for Ukraine.
“It really matters that the world is standing up on behalf of Ukraine now … that’s why we felt it was important to not only make this next announcement … but to actually go to Ukraine and make the announcement there,” Mr Marles said.
“The American package is going to make a very significant difference in their ability to be able to prosecute the war or their interest in the war.
“This is an existential conflict for Ukraine, and Ukraine must be able to resolve this conflict on its terms, and we will stand with Ukraine for as long as that takes.”
What world? You’ve got NATO, and that’s it.
If the govt can afford to give more money to a foreign country, then obviously they're taking to much money from the taxpayers of Australia.
I'm an Australian and a 'first fleeter'' and I know the truth about the Ukraine/Russia war...
I STAND WITH RUSSIA.
GO TO UKRAINE THEN.
Indeed, unfortunately the sheep that still believe the legacy bought and paid for media, are clueless once again.
@@SilentMetroStalker really. Lol might want to some research on that one, your obviously another MSM victim, there's no excuse for ignorance in this day and age, you have the Internet use it fgs. Watch alternative media, with real independent journalism for the real info on all world affairs, you might actually learn something.
@SilentMetroStalker Your comment doesn’t make sense
Australians don't want a war in Ukraine. We want peace talks.
The world😢😢😢
I think Richard Marles' children should be conscripted to aid Ukraine.
The World is Laundering Money you mean.
You’re paying for it Australia…..like it or not.
Inflationary money printing.
Are you joking Marles we've given Ukraine 100 million from our defence budget. We can't defend ourselves now and the ALP is giving all up about 1 billion away.
Trump will have peace within a month.
😂🤦♂️
He approved the last financial package, so maybe not.
@@paulveenings6861 No, he didn't. He DISapproved of it, as he wants peace, not war.
@@kevinlee7678 yes he did to say otherwise is just being ignorant.
I stand with beautiful Russia ❤
Not to me. I don't care about Ukraine or any other foreign nation.
What matters to most Australians is hardworking taxpayers money is being sent to Ukraine to fund endless wars. Stop the madness.
Vlad: yeah, right...
