    finallly worthy interview with really good interviewer ... well prepared questions, he asks for some new interesting things, very sensitive .. perfectly done

    Great to hear even the amazing Dave Weckl has sometimes relied on pro tools to smooth out a few rough edges! I'm sure there aren't many, but good to hear he's human too!

      +Fra Aul He's the greatest one man.He invented like anyone else before the modern drumming.A total musicality completely different .There are strumentalists,musicians and then artists.He's part of this last one category,not just a drummer a complete genius.

      +Fra Aul Quel che sconcerta è l'apparente disinvoltura con la quale affronta di tutto,oltre ad una raffinatezza ed una sensibilita credo ancora non raggiungibili.Va oltre il batterista e non è più batteria. Multiforme ,cangiante,elegante ha elevato il batterismo a propria dignità.Universale e inattaccabile,Sempre per chi lo conosce.Che gli altri si dilettino con Portnoy.

    Diversifying. That one aspect makes Dave Weckl different from a guy like Tommy Igoe (no disrespect intended). Tommy has his own big band he leads, and that's the only gig/project he will do. He has even said that he refuses anyone else that may want him apart of their project. +1 for Dave!
